We placed an online order tonight at 5:59 p.m. for literally the most basic items on your menu. A bowl of orange chicken with fried rice and a side of chow mein. At 6:34 I finally walked out of your restaurant. This was the Panda Express in Midlothian Texas. After 35 minutes of waiting I said something to the girl behind the counter and was offered no apology whatsoever and on top of that my food was in a bag that was torn down the side. I asked if she was even going to apologize and she completely ignored me and walked off. I asked to speak with the manager and she offered a half apology about how they had run out of fried rice. I understand that you get busy but it's going to be really difficult to convince me that it took 35 minutes to make some more fried rice especially since I've had that happen to me several times at this store. I'm in retail and we pride ourselves on customer service. I understand that sometimes you have bad days but the experience that I had at your store tonight was abysmal. Read moreAvoid this location at all costs. I placed an order that was set to be picked up 30 minutes later. I got a text about 10 minutes later stating it was ready to be picked up. Called the restaurant and they told me it would be sitting under a heat lamp (inside plastic containers mind you) until I got there. When I arrived I asked to speak with the manager. I explained to them that I picked that pick up time for a reason and that I didn't want food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for 20 mins. He was extremely combative with me about the issue when I said I wanted the food remade or a refund. He kept insisting the food was hot still, then lied to me and told me it was just completed 5 minutes before (which would've been my actual pickup time but I know for a fact it was ready several minutes prior). Edit: over time, the food just got worse and the customer service dropped so much. You'd think for people making over $10/hr they wouldnt cut you off, roll their eyes, or slam windows shut to get managers over basic things. Ordered broccoli beef and got literally 3-4 tiny pieces of beef under 7-10 soggy pieces of broccoli. Honey walnut shrimp is always old and the batter is sliding off the shrimp because it has been sitting out so long. Paying extra money for shrimp should probably make me entitled for decent tasting shrimp.
