Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Midlothian

I love tropical smoothie cafe let me be clear. This specific location, i will not be returning too. Ive tried to come here 3 times. Each time has been worse then the time before it. Not only do i place my order online before even leaving my house which is 14 minutes away, but every time i get here i have to wait an additional 10- 20 minutes for my food. Every time. I order my food online at 10: 45, its currently 11:15 , i ordered one cali breakfast flatbread. Thats it, no drink. Waiting inside theres 3 employees and no one is greeting anyone i stood inside for 10 minutes and no one even spoke to me or looked at me. One of the employees a middle aged woman was loudly publicly berating another employee while working. Theres about 4 guests sitting around looking angry holding receipts. The 3rd employee is litterally playing on his phone, the rude lady is as slowly as possible making food, and ive worked fast food before so I'm not complaining to complain. I'm talking this woman is moving SO SLOW i watched her turn around to grab a spatula thing behind her and it took legitimately forever. The only one actually doing their job and doing it quickly is the young man that shes loudly telling off. Im still waiting for my food. Its now currently 11 :20 still no food for me and theyve handed out 1 singular smoothie since ive been standing here watching for the last 5 minutes. The entire time ive been here ive seen one samdwhich leave and 2 other drinks. For the entire now 25 minutes ive been here, let alone is been almost 40 minutes since i placed my order. But again i only have this problem at this location the other stores ive visited have been fast and immaculate. Do better Midlo store. You need a...

This location is awful. I went at 10:15am on thursday 04/24. I love tropical smoothie but whoever the manager was on shift today was incredibly rude and made me want to leave and just drive to the waxahachie location. We wanted our smoothie remade because a girl I brought who has never tried it before wanted something else added and I said we could refund and pay for the add on and she was visibly mad by our request and then took the smoothie and threw it in the trash very loudly. Then when taking my order the guy taking it forgot an item and then when I looked in my bag and asked for the item missing she got upset and acted like never ordered that and was clearly mad about that too. My door dash order was stolen today in the last hour from this establishment. The manager refused to make a new smoothie for the real dasher present as they said my order left 15 min before. So I called to speak with them myself and explain there must be a mistake. I’m sick, I have a fever and I have zero patience as a result to be told it’s not their problem and to take it up with Door Dash who is the third party. Guess what Tropical Smoothie with poor service resolution skills, anyone can walk up to your counter and say a name that is on your smoothie label right where they pick up at. It would be your job to confirm if indeed you want to be successful with DoorDash.
