Grandy's — Restaurant in Midwest City

I don't normally write reviews but my wife's experience was so incredible I have to share it. She went thru the drive-thru to place her order. Was told the chicken would be about 8 minute wait. After a long wait the woman came to the window and she said "we don't have your chicken fried steaks". My wife told her she didn't order chicken fried steaks. The woman told her yes you did. My wife said no I didn't. She again said oh yes you did. My wife said I ordered 30 chicken nuggets. The woman said we don't sell 3 piece chicken nugget meals. My wife responded 30 chicken nuggets. At that point the woman walked off. Finally got the order and my wife asked her is everything in here. She responded yes ma'am. Got home and guess what. No rolls and no cinnamon rolls. She had ordered 6 cinnamon rolls but they only had 4 rolls left. When she got back to the place she was told they only had 2 rolls left. Wife said you sold my rolls. She said no I didn't. Hum? Let's see. Susy paid for 4 cinnamon rolls which she didn't get in the first place. Sally comes in and buys 2 rolls. How many rolls does Susy get? Susy gets 2! Basic math says you did too sell my rolls. The most incredible part of this saga is this woman actually argued about what my wife ordered. Don't insult her...

The title "fast food" is a bit misleading. While the food is good, by no means is it or service fast.

I understand this is a new establishment so the kinks still need to be worked out, but the cashiers and rest of the support staff, manager included, walk around like lost puppies trying to figure out what needs to be done.

I'm giving 3 stars cause the food was decent and they were trying.

We had a 6 piece order of tenders, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, and Mac and cheese & a single country fried steak with mashed potatoes with brown gravy and Mac and cheese.

With the order on a paper in her hand, the poor, frazzled cashier botched her first attempt at fulfilling the order and finally was able to get it fulfilled after 10 minutes. That was after I had spent 20-30 minutes in line to order.

Tea was non-existent for refills without waiting for another 20 minutes.

All in all, I may go back, but only if there are no other cars in the parking lot. At least then maybe I'll have a chance to get a drink refill without having to put in PTO time...

We had 3 people dining it was about 730pm. We were the only customers in the store. We had to wait for a cool minute before help arrived we had chicken fried steak the meat was pink the taters were barley warm and a ton of pepper was used on everything . It took about ten minutes before we got our food. My son went to the front to ask if we could get more dinner rolls there was nobody there he waited and waited nobody came so he yelled hello several times he finally broke out with a full-fledged screem is anybody working here the lady come up so I'm sorry we were in the storeroom. They finally came and he asked for the bread they gave him a paper plate with four rolls on it and they didn't look good they were smashed they did taste good though .so we finished our meal and left not one person said a word to us. So probably won't return. I'll stick to the one in moore there food is good and friendly staff. The restaurant was a brand new and nice how ever the parking...
