Actually the service was the worst service that I've ever had at any Sonic that I've ever gone to. I had a tax exempt card and wanted to use it for my purchase. I was told that I could not because I had not told them what I place my order that I had a tax-exempt card. I tried to explain to them that I didn't know that I needed to say that at the very beginning of my order but they did not want to listen. I even asked how was I supposed to know that but they could not answer. When I got up there I also asked for a fresh bag of ice because the ice that was sitting there had been sitting there for a while and I did not want ice that was thawing out. This all happened through the drive-thru. When Savannah my cashier refused my card, I ask for the manager. The manager came and asked me for my ID. I gave her my ID and she again refused my card saying that my name on the card and the name on the ID had to be the same. I don't use my husband's last name as many, many women do not. I told her that and she said that Jonathan the general manager was the one that made the rules. I indicated to her that Jonathan could not change the rules on something that was federally issued. She said that my tax exempt card had to say household in order for me to use it. This is a Sonic that I will never, never, never go back to. I will also be calling Jonathan tomorrow. Read moreI went to the pull-up station. They were pretty fast to take my order. They also got the food out rather fast, hot and fresh. They told me that they were training people. I didn't mind that they asked my choice three times. Then they sent out the wrong combo and demand I return the incorrect item, which will go to the food waste because they don't allow employees to eat the extra food. The price verse the size of food is not even. The Cinnasnacks are over a dollar for a bite size item. The burrito was the that premium sausage and cheese. It was only 2 inches wide and five inches long. I expect a three inch burrito for over five dollars. Since they rang me up for the wrong meal, they over charged me by .50; and didn't return the difference. These things may not matter the rich. I am working class and expect to get more food for $14.00. I didn't get full. The cold brew coffee has too much ice. You don't get much of a drink for the price. I grew up on sonic. It's sad that this is going to be buying food their anymore. Don't forget those half price drinks during happy hour! It might be worth it to use the app. Maybe the app...

Sat for 15 minutes behind the person who was placing their order before the line even moved. Finally pulled up to place my order and sat there for over 5 minutes and no one ever came on the speaker. Not even can you hold for one moment. After giving up on anyone answering the speaker I pulled up in hopes to just place my order at the window. Another 15 minute wait before reaching the window. Told the lady at the window that no one ever came on the speaker. She shut the window only to go get another lady who proceeds to tell me she can’t take my order at the window that I will have to pull into a stall to place my order and they are currently short handed that is way no one answer the speaker. So pull into a stall to wait another 30 minutes? How is being short handed the customer’s fault? If you are too short handed then you need to have a plan that you can implement instead of giving excuses. It’s sad that you don’t even try to assist the customer. Will not be visiting this...
