I woke up this morning with an idea, the first thing i thought of was..... IHOP. So i asked my dad if we could and he said yes, by the way this is the experience of a child like me so i am telling my experience off of a childs perspective, so if theres any adults that disagree just to let you know im a child and this was my experience. So i was going in with excitement I haven't been here in about 2 years and i was just remembering it all, the laughs, the food, the waitress, it was like heaven it all felt just right so today i came in with a smile on my face just knowing everything is going to be perfect. I was sitting down at our table and the waitress comes in like "hello" in a sweat voice "are we going to do the drinks first or are you guys ready to order" also in a nice voice, and my dad said "drinks first pls" and she said "ok be back with yall". So i was just sitting there playing some retro bowl on my phone and she comes back in exactly 3 minutes later with both of our waters, and we were ready to order and i got the the world favorite pancake combo, it has 2 eggs which i asked scrambled, two pieces of bacon, and instead of hash browns i got breakfast potatoes, and some butter pancakes of my choice, i dont know what my dad ordered but he didnt have a problem eating it. So the time we ordered was 11:54 and i will give a 5 minute grace period so she can get it to the chef, so that leads up to 12: 11: 59 am our food got hear at 12:09 very small time period but the food was still amazing. I was eating my food what i loved the most was the breakfast patatoes, it had all the seasoning it needs it was amazing in my mouth. The bacon was the best I've every had it was cooked perfectly, the eggs were watery but the cheese made it good, now the pancakes the moment you readers have been waiting for, what i was waiting for...... ( that song that they played when the first man steped on the moon, you know what im talking about) so i took my first bite and it was perfect, amazing, spectacular it was the ihop pancake it took over my taste buds, filled my body with instant relief and by the time i ate it all it was soothing me down i just wanted to go to sleep right then and there. Now after i cooled up i was ready to get up and go, man ihop.... you got to love it, the place that brought my childhood to life and im sure yours too, thank you for you reading this and im going to go homw and have some flash backs and sut...
Read moreWe went to this location twice last weekend, early morning, with a great experience with Maria and one other female server.
Today, we went at 10pm and it was DEPLORABLE!!! Everyone who came in after us got helped while we sat still waiting on service until I got up to ask if we even had a server.
Someone reluctantly took the order and fought out loud during our visit about whose table it was?! Only brought food never asked us if we were okay or refilled anything for us!
The WORST PART, as we waited 10 minutes for the check and everyone in the place avoided the table and eye contact I truly contemplated whether or not anyone would’ve noticed had we just walked out?! Finally, still no check but another server stood behind our table and leaned under my spouses arm to swipe our card off the table as if he were invisible with not a word to us!!!! I got up again and said to give me my card! He argued they hadn’t run anything yet like I was being ridiculous to not want a random creep to sneaky slide the card away without a word?! I said again, “GIVE ME MY CARD!” The reluctant server finally apologized and says he was just trying to help!
I told her in no uncertain terms he didn’t wait on us nor say anything when he took the card and that’s not how you do business! I said, “there is a way to do things and that isn’t it!!!!”
AND, you’re not busy except one table getting 💯 service!!! I have my thoughts on why and why we didn’t! But I told her there is no excuse for not saying something to us instead of grabbing the card behind us without any statement or comment at all period!!!
I tipped a small amount (actually probably still 10-12%) and TRULY SHOULDNT HAVE! Had I had one inkling a complaint to management would help—I would have done it!
The management strolled around as lazily as the workers giggled and talked in crowds instead of serving guests! 💯 HORRIBLE! Will NOT GO BACK BECAUSE OF THIS TEAM AND EXPERIENCE! WORST SERVICE...
Read moreFrom the moment I stepped into IHOP, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the comforting scent of golden pancakes sizzling on the griddle. The soft hum of friendly conversation and the gentle clinking of silverware against porcelain set the stage for what would be an unforgettable dining experience.
My server, Lillian, was nothing short of extraordinary. With a bright smile and a graceful demeanor, she welcomed me as if I were a cherished guest in her own home. Her attentiveness was impeccable—never intrusive, yet always present at the perfect moment, ensuring my coffee cup was never empty and that each request was met with effortless ease.
The food, of course, was a masterpiece. My plate arrived like a work of art—a stack of perfectly golden-brown pancakes, delicately crowned with a swirl of whipped butter that melted into glistening rivulets. The syrup cascaded down the sides like liquid amber, pooling onto the plate in the most tempting way. Every bite was a harmony of fluffy texture and rich, buttery sweetness, complemented by the savory crispness of bacon cooked to perfection.
Lillian’s service elevated the entire experience. She exuded a warmth that made the meal feel personal, as though I were dining at a beloved, familiar place rather than a restaurant. Her thoughtful touches—remembering my preference for cream in my coffee, offering recommendations with genuine enthusiasm, and ensuring every detail was just right—transformed a simple breakfast into a moment of indulgence.
By the time I left, I felt more than satisfied—I felt genuinely cared for. If every IHOP visit were like this, I’d never dine anywhere else. Five stars...
