Billy Sims BBQ — Restaurant in Midwest City

Yesterday, my order was completely messed up by a black lady she wasn’t paying attention obviously. I asked for brisket meat on my baked potatoes and instead got pulled pork. I called the next day, gave the receipt number, and the manager promised my corrected order would be ready for pickup. When I arrived, one of the older black lady staff members very unprofessional in appearance and attitude spoke to me rudely, telling me “you can tell your mama the manager is coming back.” The Mexican manager then claimed he checked the video and insisted I got brisket when I clearly did not. On top of that, communication with him was difficult English didn’t seem to be his first language and he still refused to make things right. This location has terrible service, rude staff, and management that lies instead of fixing their mistakes. I will be posting a video about my experience on my YouTube channel to warn others. We drove up there and didn’t get a replacement for our messed up order when the manager told us over the phone to come pick up the correct order to make things right.

To the Owner, I believe your location needs a new manager and team. The current staff has been challenging to work with. Specifically, the two Black women who are sisters seemed confrontational, and one of the Black female employee sister that’s super skinny also appeared aggressive. Additionally, the Mexican manager struggles with proper English, which affects communication and efficiency. I wanted to bring these concerns to your attention so improvements can be made for a better working environment. Thank you for your consideration.

Melinda has the best food customer service me and my husband have ever experienced!!!! 💞 she truly made our holidays. The first time we came was absolutely amazing she told us about the refillable cups to save a little extra money on your order when you bring them back next time and she would remember our faces! (We also love refillable cups to collect lol) we got the loaded spuds to go they were sooo good but the next time we came in this time we wanted to sit down the environment was great and indeed she remembered our faces! We got the same food and the potatoes were so good and seasoned and just over all felt and tasted like southern bbq home cooking. Not to mention their sauces are amazing and they sell them as well as the seasonings for great prices!! We also got one of the dessert cups up front and omg it just melts in your mouth!! I will never do another pickup from here again. A heavyset woman refused to give me my order unless I confirmed it was already picked up. I have issues with doing this because they could still refuse to give me the order. Then I will be in trouble with my job. However I confirmed the order against my better judgment. The woman then still refused to give me the order. I had to basically make others in the store aware she was trying to steal the order after she made me confirm. Then she gave me the order and pretended that I refused to confirm the order thats why she was didn't give me the order. The employees are really shady here. They are trying to pretend it's the delivery drivers but they clearly steal from the company. Don't have to worry about me anymore I won't be back as a customer or...
