I couldn't find a lot of information about prices, so I wanted to share that I had a 1/2 order of fries - $2 (a full order is $3, and then "doctored" fries - chili/cheese, loaded, smothered, etc., get more expensive from there, but they are definitely sharing size), a large frosted mug of their famous root beer, $2, and a sausage cheeseburger with chili, around $11. There were a number of specials listed for around $11 each, including fries and a drink. The regular sausage cheeseburger was included in a special, so basically I paid $4 for my meal to be drenched in chili! But I had never been here so wanted to get the full experience.
The fries were good - very homemade style and crispier than you would expect. The 1/2 order was still a significant amount of fries - enough to share with another person. After experiencing the size of the burger, and if ordering everything a la carte again as I did today, I'd probably pass on the fries. It's a lot of food! The root beer was excellent, and at $2 for the massive mug, definitely one of the better deals on the menu. The burger was expensive (they have several other options for less), but it was a true work of art. Oodles of cheese, pickles, and mustard, and the patty was at least twice as large as the bun, fairly thin and cooked well. And the whole thing - literally the whole thing - drenched in their chili (which is delicious in its own right), and sprinkled with yet more cheese. It's worth mentioning that, while it didn't seem so at the time, the after-effect of the meal shows me how salty it was. I've been craving water nonstop since eating.
The ambience was good, nothing super fancy or notable, just a straightforward diner feel. No complaints. The waitress commented on how busy they were and how she was trying to keep up as soon as I sat down, so that raised a red flag. But she got my order correct (with the alterations), and my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. So I'd call that a win!
Altogether a unified, highly satisfying dining experience. Even though my individual check was over $16, I felt like the value was decent, as the portions were large and the food delicious. I could have split everything with another person and doubled the value, or opted for a special and saved a few bucks. The only thing that would have pushed this to 5 stars would have been going there and getting surprised by their low prices. Their prices set the bar for their food pretty high, and they do pass it, but it's not a place I could afford to...
Read moreI used to LOVE this place. My husband introduced me to it and the onion burger with cheese fries was a go to. Unfortunately this location has gone way downhill. My husband will not allow us to go to this location because it is now obviously run by people that do not care. We came in so often they’d have our order memorized. Then the staff started changing (mind you, this is over the course of a couple of years) sometimes we weren’t even waited on so we left and went to one of the other restaurants in the area, my dad had a hair cooked into a burger that was noticed towards the end of him eating, my hamburger has been pink the last couple of times, despite asking for it to be well done after the first pink incident, and I haven’t been back to this location in months. We choose to dine at the other location because Ron’s isn’t bad, just this location in particular has gone downhill
Due to the OKC location needing to find another building and the craving for a Ron’s burger, we gave in and went to the MWC location Saturday 6/26/2021. The original booth we walked to was caved in and this location obviously needs an update as well. That was no problem; we just went to another booth… we had our choice because there were only two other groups in there. My husband went and got a high chair for our nephew on his own, something I thought they would ask if we needed. He’s 2. Food was mediocre and staff doesn’t seem to have changed much from my original review. Just thought I’d give an update that this place hasn’t improved in my opinion. Oh one very disappointing plate of cheese fries were placed on our table. Please use more cheese if you are charging that much. We didn’t want to cause any problems but I wanted it to be known that for what you pay for cheese on the fries, there shouldn’t be half of the fries with no cheese on them....

Just left and Lauren was our waitress not only did she give us the best service we have EVER had at a Ron's (without knowing we were "Ron Junkies OR about my momma) but it's a Friday night and we were seated immediately and it seemed as thou our food was just as quick. The food was hot fresh and not a drop wasted. The sweet tea was fresh and just as southern iced tea should be. The atmosphere upbeat and old school music played quietly from the speakers where you could hear customers singing along at times. Not only did Ron's and Lauren deliver amazing food but my soul was happy and grateful for mommas suggestion out of tune singers (I was one of them) and Lauren. We thank you more than this post allows...
