Holliday Donuts — Restaurant in Midwest City

I'm a man that loves the occasional donut. I've been through the chains and nothing ever really stands out, usually just some sugar rush or a dough that is less than substantial. Mom and pop type locations typically offer the best quality or the most interesting variety. Holiday Donuts serves a shining example of a well balanced donut. The star of the show is the yeast, the intense flavor of the rise contrasting perfectly against sweetness and the essence of quality flour is unmistakable. This glorious backdrop elevates the various (and seasonal) toppings and fillings to magnificent hights, it achieves this by restraining the sugar, not too much, not too little. The result is an incredibly satisfying Donut, that the size of these are large only adds to the decadence of the overall experience. I must recommend that, if you have a chance, you try this humble store. The product is far superior to those found in flashier...

Customer Service is at it an all time LOW So Friday is Donut Friday in our house! I've been doing it for years with the kids! We all look forward to Donut Fridays! Sometimes we venture to other Donut shops but our favorite is Best Donuts in Del City Today we went to Holliday Donuts on Reno I pull up to the drive through and roll down my window the lady opens the window and just stares at us... looking like WHAT DO YOU WANT..... So I say Good Morning and I stare back at her waiting for a greeting...she says with an attitude "how can I help you?" I said you better learn how to greet and speak to your customers you can't help me today and I drive off! I turn to Bailee and tell her NEVER Spend your hard earned money at places that can't simply greet you! We didn't get Donuts this morning so we ran to Dollartree to get snacks for school!

Moral of this story SHOP WHERE YOU ARE APPRECIATED! PERIOD A simple greeting...

Update 3/1/2022: from 4 stars to 1 star. Their ingredients and / or production methods have changed for the worse. I think it's both: using poor quality ingredients now and the owners don't care about the product anymore. They may have become content and big-headed now after all the great reviews. Their opening hours are inconsistent despite the posted hours. This morning I was initially told that the donuts and breakfast sandwiches weren't ready yet. But then suddenly they did have some croissant sandwiches and one type of cake donut. Unfortunately, the sandwich was obviously left over from a previous day. It was still COLD in the center and had the refrigerator (leftover) taste. The...
