I recently (less than 7 days) bought a device that had been working oddly and finally completely just stopped working. I looked up what was wrong with it and it said itâs defective. I spoke with someone at the shop, told her what was going on, it was agreed it sounds defective. Staff member was aware I no longer have my receipt. I was told to bring it up there and they would just swap it out. I went up there maybe 35 minutes later and it was a completely different person there. They told me Nope, I canât do that without a receipt. I asked if he could reach out and call the manager to confirm that, seeing as I just spoke to someone who said I could, and itâs manufactured defective.
