Swadley’s Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Midwest City

I have Never been to this Swadleys As I pulled into the parking lot a hostess had the door open waiting for me She welcome me I went in went to the counter got a menu from the cashier I read it a minute then placed my order for a Ribeye MacNCheese green beans Dr Pepper

No one came to seat me so I found a both my self About 2min later a little girl came over an said I SUPRISED her, did I want anything to drink, I said Dr pepper, she went an got it

I opened my phone to YouTube An looked at some stuff while waiting Then a young boy brought out my steak an ask me to cut into it to see if it was cooked to my liking, It was told him, looks good thank you.. He walked away, then came the waitress She asked, if everything was okay I told her yes. Took a bite of my stake, an the boy came back and asked how was it, I told him OKAY. Then some girl came over and asked if everything was ok, u said yeah but can we stop checking till I have 2 bites of my steak

Then another girl came over an asked the same thing... seems I went through 15 different children asking if everything was ok

Finely I stood up announced to the restaurant that my food was ok.. At that time the owner an others Decided they didn't like me doing that. So they kicked me out Half way through my $35.00 steak

I turned over my Dr Pepper on my steak Which in doing so inadvertently I spilled some on the owners Girlfriend

The children there played a prank on me As I left the owner his gir6thlfriend followed me out to my truck, next to it was a OHP officer

As I approached the officer I thought let the bad guy tell his side First

All the owner said was that I need to be kinder I told him , I was just there to eat in peice He said then I'm going to get a restraining order against you

I told him dont worry, I won't come an eat your garbage again

I have never been to this place before I'll never go back But I may seek counseling over the issue see if I dont have a Civil suite

Disappointing. Got the Oklahoma sample to celebrate a bit and eat on for a couple days. I can't do spicy sauces so I explicitly asked for their sweetest one. Got home only to open my bag and find they gave me their spiciest one instead. Now I have all this food and no sauce. Nothing like dry BBQ. Called and they just said they'd tell the drive through to be more careful. I'm 20 min away so I can't just go back. I flat out told them sweet while I was at the window-how do you mess that up??? Even shows it on my receipt. The lack of sympathy when I called them confused about the sauce was unexpected, and their lack of any displayed intent to help disillusioning. Probably won't be going back. What a huge disappointment. Maybe the meat would be good with the sauce but it's honestly pretty dry and salty other than the sausage. Took a bite of each thing then just ate my side and gave up on the meat. Heated up the rib for dinner, could have used that sauce they didnt give me. There were two fat obvious bones and about 5 little ones in a single rib. Couldnt even eat it as a rib and had to tear it apart to pull out all the bones after i got frustrated since you couldnt bite anywhere on the thing without hitting something. Wth. Not exactly typical. DO...

This place is probably one of the best places to eat hands down my favorite places to eat. They have the absolute best barbecue in the state hands down other than the fact that this time at this location I've never had any other issues with any of the other location so far and like I said before this is my number one place to eat BBQ I can't say that enough but i requested no sauce on my food order and still was served it with sauce on it even after specifying that I wanted them naked with no sauce and didn't find out until I got home cuz usually dont to check my food when I order it from swadley's at least not at the other locations because they pretty much listen to what you say whenever you order something a certain way you want it made this time at this location only so far has failed to listen to the customer even after them repeating my order back to me still made the order incorrectly. So this location really needs to communicate more with this name as well as making sure the orders correctly the other servers that are preparing the food choice to not make the same mistake cost people money as well as the company.
