Ange's Pizza — Restaurant in Mifflin Township

While the food was amazing, being shamed for ordering pick up through DoorDash from the employee was awkward and weird. We selected this pizza place because we had a credit from DoorDash to try something new (a big credit offered to try Ange’s). We were excited to finally give them a try and jumped at the chance to try our local pizza place. When we arrived to pick up the order, the woman working the counter loudly shamed me for ordering through DoorDash. Said I was overcharged and to call there directly instead next time. When I said: Oh we had coupons and a credit to try this, she grabbed coupons and said here then! Even better she then had the nerve to claim DoorDash stole the tip "if one was even left. Have a blessed day." And stomps off. This was around 5:00pm on a Monday. Again, the pizza was good, kids loved the cheese sticks and their small pizza. But hard pass— We will stick to the other 5 places within blocks...

It could be that ordering the pizza online was my problem, they said it'd be ready in 30 minutes, so i got there in 25, and the pizza was sitting on the wire rack (as mentioned in someone elses review) under a couple other pizzas...so it appeared to have been there for a few minutes at least. I had ordered a Pepperoni pizza with Sausage. By the time I got home (we live 10 minutes from Ange's) the pizza was soggy, and the Sausage was just not good...it smelled super strong and was pretty acidy. The rest of the pizza was really just mediocre. I didn't rate Atmosphere because there wasn't any...there's nowhere to sit inside. Service was OK, walked in, got the pizza, I hadn't left a tip online so the girl behind the counter printed off the receipt so I'd give her one and I did...but don't know why. We threw away most of the pizza unfortunately and I don't think we'll be...

I called this place, they took my address, my order, and then my credit card info. They then told me they couldn't deliver to my hotel! I was told that my money would be refunded in 3 to 5 business days! Excuse me but if you're 3 miles away and already have my money you should then just deliver my order - the person who took my order and stole my money was RUDE about it as well. What the HELL!

Then I start receiving emails from the owner saying they didn't have my money - well it's pending at my bank which means I don't have it either and am stuck waiting for my own money bank. I called my bank's fraud department and reported this incident.

I will also call the BBB to report them. People like this should not own businesses. No apologies, no attempts to just deliver, no concern for robbing me.
