The Owl, Morning 'til Night — Restaurant in Milan

Usually I love coming in because the atmosphere is perfect for studying, it's a great place to relax after my walking exercise, and my partner loves their Hot Chocolate. However, today I guess that's not possible, as I was coming in to do a few assignments for my courses and grab something to leave with once I was finished with my assignments and the lovely lady on bar threatened to kick me out twice (the first time was about 15 minutes after I sat down and got set up to work) because after about 30-45 minutes of me just working and I hadn't gotten anything yet as I was still studying and not ready to buy anything and leave yet. I ended up just grabbing something and not even eating it because I just wanted to get back to my studying. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this experience was very disheartening as this establishment...

I love this place. The coffee is tasty, the baked goods are tasty, and the atmosphere is cozy. The only things are that it can be a little pricey (but it's a treat) and I bought a can of their creamed coffee from their fridge to go and it was spoiled. Paid over $6 for it and was a little disappointed. I only had it in the car for 20 min until it was put in the fridge at home so I doubt it would have spoiled during that time. Opened it two days later and it was sour and fizzy. But!!! That won't deter me from going again. The chocolate croissant is 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼!!! The drinks are large and not overly sweet so if you are a coffee lover then...

I've been going to the Owl for years, and it's always been great. It's gotten even better as the years roll on. The Owl hosts many events such as trivia and live music. They serve up the best coffee in town, and also double as an excellent bar with a variety of cocktails, ciders, beers, and wines. They even can their cocktails so you can take them on the go! They also carry locally sourced snacks, small meals, and pastries. The Owl is an excellent place to have a social gathering, and really is a centerpiece of the Milan community.
