Wow, this place is slammed! Of course, it is St. Patrick's Day at the only brewery in town. It's loud, it's raucous, everybody is super-friendly (at a brewery? In MI? I'm shocked. NOT.) Once I got through the line - that started at the door and took about 10 minutes to navigate - I got two small batch stouts, a coconut cream & a mint. Since I'm sitting outside in 42°F (with heaters, I'm not stupid & neither are they) I felt chewy 9% ABV brews were called for. The staff is hauling butt trying to take care of everyone as efficiently as possible. They aren't up for extraneous conversation today. No surprise there. That said, my sandwich took 90 minutes even though I put my sandwich order in when I got my first round. I honestly forgot what I ordered, just glad for something in my belly at this point. Its tasty, too. Several locals I spoke with on the way in, loudly due to the high volume, said they are very good. They are correct. The music, outside, is occasionally heard but the conversation volume is pretty high here as well. There is a projector showing a basketball game currently. Several screens inside are showing showing various sports. On a personal note, I am repeatedly impressed by the friendliness of folks at breweries and in the Midwest in general. If you want to make a new friend, this is a great place to start.

Original Gravity is one of Michigan’s hidden gems! Their craft beer selection has a diverse range of flavors for every palate. In addition to great beer, OG has a great menu selection featuring snacks, sandwiches and more! On our visit we loved the shelled peanut basket! We also ordered the adult grilled cheese, club, Italian sub and homemade chip dip- everything was delicious! The brewery itself has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with cozy seating options, a view of their brewery and a variety of arcade games. We popped in for a meal not knowing what to expect but we are already planning our next visit! If you haven’t been to Original Gravity you must stop in!

Decided to check out this unique spot today and was very pleasantly surprised with great food, fantastic brews, and a ver unique and enjoyable atmosphere! The 4 of us each ordered a different sandwich, and we all couldn’t stop commenting about how delicious our choice was. I had the Pastromi Sandwich- wow- absolutely delicious! I also recommend you enjoy a flight of 6 beers and enjoy their unique brews- my favorite was the 440 Pepper- a very unique and even fun taste- I had to buy another to bring home. 😁👍🏻❤️

Every time I call to place an order in the past 2 to 3 years, I've been told the kitchen is closed. And its always been at least 1 or 2 hours before the stated website closing time. I always check the hours before calling. So it would be really nice to have the kitchen hours listed separately if there's that much of a difference between the actual closing time. I would understand if I was calling alot closer to closing. But when its at least 1 or 2 hours its a real bummer. I don't drink and have to drive a half hour to get there. We used to order a minimum of 2 to 4 sandwiches at a time plus 1 or 2 sides to go when I lived in Milan. And the food was really good back then. But I wouldn't know anymore due to the kitchen hours being so different from regular business hours. Please consider listing the kitchen hours too. Some of us not so local anymore people would like to order carry out...

The food was delicious (5 star worthy), however I was less than thrilled when I saw one of the staff members handling food. Where I was seated I could see into the kitchen where one of the girls was shaving meat. During this time she paused to use her phone and pick trash off the floor. My issue was after picking up whatever was on the floor she then reached into the trash can pushing items down and then proceeded to go back to shaving meat without changing gloves. Catching the slices with the hand she stuck in the trash. It could have been a new trash bag for all I know, but even so.. a change of gloves would have been nice before immediately going back to handling food people eat. It was a major let down because the food really was good, I just don't trust the...
