Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Milford Charter Township

I went in on a Thurs to order a catering/pre-order for the following Sat. The girl who helped me and took the order was very knowledgeable and helped me order the right amount of subs. (I went with a 30 piece and a 15 piece.) I needed the platters ready by 1pm and I prepaid so a friend could pick them up and it would be all set. These platters were for my sister's wedding, the in between time to feed the bridal party. It was very important that they were ready to pick up so my friend could get them and then pick up the bridesmaids and go! (Got to stay on schedule on a wedding day!) Well my friend was running a few minutes late and didn't walk in until 1:05pm. The subs were not done and to make it worse when he asked about them and how long it would be, employees rolled their eyes and never gave him a straight answer, they just kept telling him, "we're working on it!" He finally walked out of the store at 1:20pm. 20 min after he should have. If this day weren't such a big day and being on time wasn't so important, I wouldn't care but the fact that I went in 2 days before and the rudeness that came from the employees is just not ok. Very disappointing. I won't be going back to this location and for sure won't recommend going to this...

Today I ordered 2 subs to be delivered and was told they would be out shortly. An hour later and they were still not here. Called and was told they were just minutes away. Another 20 minutes passed and still no subs. Called again and this time the person told me the subs had not left yet but they would be leaving soon and to expect in 20 minutes. Called back again after a 2 HOUR WAIT to find out the deliver driver was again returning and would now be heading out with our subs. Their excuse: "its been a hectic morning". I work retail and understand it can be hectic to do things on time but 2 HOUR IS RIDICULOUS and to get different answers each time you call is UNACCEPTABLE. I hate leaving bad reviews, having worked in the food industry and customer service most of my life. I get that wages aren't great. This goes both ways.

This is at least the third time that I can count where I added bacon to my sandwich without receiving it. Honestly I only mention anything because with the way money is, going out is a conscious decision and eating out should cost half a days wage.

The staff are nice, if not new at the location. Maybe I have officially become old, but socialize and complete the task.
