My lavender cappuccino was really good. They are spot on with their espresso drinks. The atmosphere didn’t have any music and felt quiet/ bleak. Trying to find a table was complicated because they were left dirty and not kept up with. The kicker was that my crepe was mislabeled as a completely different name and when I tried to communicate it with the employees, they looked at each other all clueless. The moment I took a bite of the crepe i was left disappointed. Bland chicken, mushy wrap, hardened cheese and hard veggies. My plate look like an arts and craft project. Especially over the fact that it was priced in total at $20+. A lot of careful consideration should be made as well when providing the customer service experience for travelers. The barista on the espresso machine that I was observing seemed very annoyed. I’m sure they are wonderful individuals but today was not one of those days especially when me and a friend traveled from Norwalk for a treat. Mind you we work in these forms of establishments so we had a set expectation of the service that should’ve been provided but felt underwhelming. Best of luck and hopefully this feedback can provide an eye opener to certain overlooked issues in the...
Read moreOne of the worst coffee shops that I have ever had the misfortune of wasting my time & money in. The espresso beans are always burnt/over roasted ($2.00 bag of Cafe bustello taste better). The girls that work behind the counter are not only very rude but have no idea how to make drinks the right way. The person behind the counter could not make a cappuccino they gave me a latte instead. The bigger girl also cursed at me and called me a @$$hol& as she walked away after my complaint. I asked that my drink be made again and I got another latte. I asked for the manager and she told me that she was the manager. Unbelivable! If your going to charge $5.00 for a cup of coffee you better know what your doing! All of there "fresh pastries" taste like they came from BJ's/Costco a couple of days before. Stay away from this place! The people are rude, the coffee/food is disgusting, and it's extremely over priced for the poor cheap quality that they give you. If your craving coffee go anywhere else because at least if you go to Starbucks you get what you pay for. To the owner of this place either dosent care or knows nothing of fine...
Read moreFirst of all...there's virtually no parking in the area so...you'd have to park in the lot for the bank or the art center, across the street.
It looks like an upscale comfy place, but most of the seating is hard and uncomfortable. There are a few padded seats and a couple of easy chairs but most of the available seating are hard metal chairs or hard wood booth benches. The staff seems annoyed that anyone asks them for anything. One gets the distinct impression that you're keeping them from something much more important in their day. They get that apathetic, eye-rolling look if you don't respond quickly enough to their utterances ("Mocha....mocha.........MOCHA!!!!")
Your order is taken at the front register and then, not unlike Starbucks, you have to listen attentively for your meal to be announced so you can pick it up at the counter further down the aisle.
The food is "fine". It's not exemplary but also not bad. Just...food. One of the smallest breakfast omelets I've been served - anywhere!!
I was, initially, looking forward to eating breakfast here but, after this morning's experience, I will gladly eat most...
