Since moving to Milford, CT there are a few things I’ve had to become accustomed to. One is the absence of free plastic grocery bags available at grocery stores. Another is the overwhelming abundance of reusable grocery bags that clutter up my house because I always forget to take them to the grocery store. Lastly is the excellent customer service, value, and convenience of the Dunkin Donuts located at 275 Boston Post Rd.
The service:
Every service interaction I’ve had at this Dunkin Donuts has been great. The employees are always friendly and admittedly, I’m such a frequent customer that they usually recognize my face in the drive thru, (Shout out to Casey! she is awesome 😊) and normally just tell me to pull forward because they already have my order ready.
The value:
I know there are plenty of places you can go for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Currently at Dunkin Donuts if you order a medium or larger hot or iced coffee, you can get a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich for $3 along with many other of your favorites. Like $1 for a donut. If you opt for the breakfast sandwich here’s what I recommend. Order it on a bagel. Normally a bagel is $2.19, for 81¢ more with the purchase of a medium or larger hot or iced coffee, you can get the same bagel with sausage egg and cheese.
Now, is this going to be the best sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwich you’ve ever had in your life? Probably not. You could probably find a better bagel sandwich at other places, you’re also probably going to pay at least twice the price. Do what you feel is best for you.
I also highly recommend downloading and using the Dunkin Donuts Mobile App, there are many good deals throughout the month and you’ll earn points for free stuff.
The convenience:
If you’re one of those fortunate people that get to wake up early to make the magic happen, the Dunkin Donuts at 275 Boston Post Rd. opens at 4:00 am. Other locations normally open at 5:00 am. Also, this location has easy access to the north and south bound ramps of I95 and the Route 15 Milford Parkway.
The take away:
If you’re looking for one of the best places for service, value, and convenience for coffee and other breakfast favorites, look no further than Dunkin Donuts at 275...
Read moreAugust 2022. CHARGING MORE THAN MENU PRICESLocation is on a busy road. Has a drive through, but the drive thru is narrow and may be difficult for larger vehicles. The staff is usually pretty friendly. The reason for the one star is to hopefully get the owner’s attention to correct the following issue. Items are being charged at a higher price than posted on the menu. Here’s what happened: I regularly get the plain avocado toast and on one occasion the total came up a bit more than it usually is. I didn’t know the exact price, but it’s never more than $4 like it was this time so I didn’t say anything because i didn’t check the price. On another day when I went through the drive thru, I checked the price of the avocado toast and it’s $3.09 (see picture) when I get to the pay window, my total again comes up to over $4. CT is known for high taxes, but not $1 of tax on a $3 item. I show the person at the window and they are not sure what to do. She calls a man over and he says it’s tax, I tell him there’s no way tax is over $1 on a $3 item. I ask him what the price is before tax and he says it’s $3.69 so I show him it should be $3.09 according to the menu. He’s giving me a hard time and says they can’t change the price and I told him they need to update the menu with the new prices. They end up charging the correct price, but I’m not going back any time soon, that entire interaction was awkward and unnecessary. They should be charging the price...
Read moreI know sometimes you're going to have a bad day and that's going to affect your attitude....I've worked in the service industry myself for years and I understand this. But basically every time I come here, the employees are incredibly rude. I'm stunned at how little they seem to care about the customers, often ignoring them for long periods of time. Today, the cashier ignored me, then could barely be bothered to take my order, paid no attention to it, and served up 4 coffees that weren't even close to what I had asked for. One of them was iced, and whoever made it decided to put 2 different random flavors in it so it was a disgustingly sweet mess. I thought I would give this place another chance, but that was clearly a mistake. I"m done going here. Go to one of the other Dunkin Donuts instead. Avoid this one...
