La Ortolana Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Milford

Well, where do I begin. My company and I ordered the 2 large 1 topping pizzas with 40 bone in wings special for a coworkers birthday. This place had come HIGHLY recommended by me and was nothing but a disappointment from the poorly prepared wings to the nasty toned woman we spoke with on the telephone to inform them of their not-so-hot wings. I’m guessing she was the cook lol I WILL NOT, NOR WILL ANY OF MY COWORKERS BE ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. The wings were fried hard and put in a box with a drizzle of bbq sauce in one box. This Milford restaurant in particular gives La Ortlana a bad name. I suggest you clean this company up or you will lose a lot of business. Side note: the smart mouthed “lady” offered to deliver us bbq sauce and mild sauce in a snarky manner to make up for the terrible food. What a way to treat paying customers.

That moment when you can hardly wait for your food to arrive, because it was so good last time. Iit arrives and so disappointing. Sometimes the food (pizza, hot subs, pasta) is so good and other times it's not good at all. It's just way too inconsistent! Today, I ordered ziti with meat sauce: I was about to call and tell them they made a mistake on the order, and then I saw a little bit a meat, I poked around and saw a little more. You shouldn't have to search for the meat in meat sauce, It should be very visable. There was also way too much sauce on the pasta. I give a rating of 3, because it is so inconsistent. And I agree with previous comments, they always tell you 45 minutes, but then they would get here super fast. Now, you wait at least...

The lady that answered the phone when I order was nothing but rude. I had a delivery order and was told it was going take 45 mins. Which was fine. After an hour went by I called back to see when they would arrive. She was put off by the fact I wanted her to call the driver to check the eta. Went so far as being very sarcastic over the phone with me. When I said something to her about it she accused me of being rude to her. Which was not the case. Finally food arrived 1hr and 10 mins. After eating a few slices of pizza I got food poisoning. I will never spend my money there again. I have been a long term customer until now. Very...
