I feel that the Milford NH location is a hit or a miss with their customer service skills and food quality and most important food safety.
This is why I feel it is a hit or a miss. One night a very friend young man took my order. He was very energetic, pleasant, and repeated back my order to make sure my order was accurate. 98% he did not try to upsell. Once I got to the window for my order I asked the younger man who took my order. He pointed in a random direction that no one even there. I told him my compliment. He then said " well now that I know it is not a complaint it was me who took your order" of course now with that said I am not at all impressed. He is a night manager, and he said that to a customer, not okay. I told him " even of it was a complaint you need to learn to take a complaint as constructive criticism and learn from it any mistake made. It is okay to make mistakes, do not get upset when one is pointed out to you you learn move forward and fix it. I told him even when a customer is yelling and out of line later on try to step back and try to not have that oops happen again Good was great.
A few nights later I came during my 15 min work break. Drive through took 13 mins waiting. My mind set was well it's buisy I'm sure there is only 2 or 3 people on shift it's okay. I get my order. The order taker was a young girl she was nice and polite. I get back to work to realize my order was made wrong. So I go back and I go into the lobby. I wait for just a short moment. An other young man pit my order I to be remade. While I wait, I see multiple team members. 2 of them were on break together the rest were slow and chatty while working. The place was toataly trashed. I was thinking about ordering a mcflurry, untill i noticed all the ice cream all over the machine amd counter tops. Wipped cream left oit on the top of the counter. Food amd trash all ober the floors and counters. I noticed a rack of french fries where sitting over the fryalator getting cold. I could tell they were cooked and I had already been standing and at this point waiting a long time still. No ine even put the friws in its heating unit. I notice several unsafe food habits. If your inspector showed up at that time your location. Would have been shut down. I could not believe how much fun everyone was having and how I was still waiting and how thrashed the place was. I asked for the manager. Same guy from a few nights ago who i mentioned above. I spoke to him. I asked him why the place was a total disaster? I asked him is he felt his inspector and district manager would be okay with all the food safety violations that I can see on this side of the counter? O asked him how long the whipped cream was out for and was he going to allow that to spoil and serve to a customer. The customer would get sick. I asked him why he has not had anyone clean up. I asked him why there were 2 employees on break at the same time during a rush peak. I asked him why the fries were not in the heating unit. All he could say was I'm sorry. Then shortly he handed me my burger. I took it and said I will be putting in a complaint. Once I got back to work I threw away the burger because one my constructive criticism had already taken time away from customers waiting behind me. Two I did not want to deal with him or anyone else for a refund. That he should have have me. This experience had taken up to 49 mins of my time. Remember I was on a 15 min work break. I work 1 min up the road. No I am not happy. I do feel that this location needs to retrain all team members and all levels of management. I know how food service works. I was a manager for burger king years ago. I do under stand it can be very stressful. But there was no leadership at all that night and that why the place was in horrible condition. I have bought cold food here
Tonight a different man was working I was served fast and my food was accualy hot. The man who took my order and served me was friendly and polite as far as what I could see from the drive through window it was pretty...
Read moreThey all helped me with a free Breakfast one Morning, which helped me get my day started with my Pallet Business, even though I was strapped for cash until later that day I got paid for those pallets I fix. Especially Kelly Jo for her outstanding Kindness, and how she even left $11.00 in the bag which I didn't notice right away because I was so hungry. Then I decided to call them back by Googling their phone number. I said I had $11.00 in cash that may have got left in my bag by accident by one of your Employees. I'll just stop back by and give this money back. Because nobody is perfect. But we try. The Employee on the phone I gave my number to. So after I picked up more pallets to sell, I started to head back to the McDonalds in Milford, NH. On my way there I got a call back. She told me it was Ok. The meal was free and the money I could keep. But, prior before going to McDonalds that same Morning I asked to get $10.00 in gas if I promised to pay it back that same day to the girl at Cumberland Farms next door to McDonalds in Milford, NH. Because, I had $1.00 in my Checking Account, which I showed her on my Cellphone screen.. We'll, the $11.00 which Kelly Jo left me, just so she knows, my plans that day were to go cash my check after selling my pallets over at the People's Bank in Amherst, NH. I wanted to go and pay back both McDonalds for the Breakfast Meal, and go pay back the $10.00 in gas at Cumberland Farms. Well, the $11.00 I got, I paid the girl the $10.00 back for the gas, and I actually made a funny gesture saying here's $11.00. Just call the extra dollar a tip, or interest. She said, the $10.00 was fine. It was Ok. Laughing a little.. I was soaking wet from fixing all my pallets in the rain earlier this day with my shirt off. I decided to say, I have no shirt on because I was drenched from the rain, could you possibly bring me back a can of Coke for only $1.00? She said, yes, and brought me one back after she scanned it. I said, I'm glad you trusted me for the gas, and God Bless. She and I then went our ways and left. So, Kelly Jo, when you get this, I just wanted you to know I won't lie when I say where that money you gave to me went. I can't remember the girls name who helped me with gas that same Morning, but something somehow tells me her name was Amanda. That name seems to ring out. Not 100% positive. But God Bless you all that day. Thank you so much for everything. It just shows as both my Father and Mother left with me when they passed. Courtesy goes a very long...
Read moresince this mcdonalds is near my school, i end up coming here alot since it's the only one in the area, but there is so many problems with this mcdonds.
The fries always taste stale or dry, like if they pre-cooked it all in the morning and dont cook more throughout the day. not only that but they barely give you any fries, if i order a medium it's only half filled, same with larges.
there has been not 2 but 3 times ive come thru the drive-through and waiting in line for an hour before placing my order, and i was the second car in line before the menu speaker every time. when i do finally get my food, usually it's all messed up, and wasnt worth the wait. days like these you're lucky to get half filled medium fries, because they tend to only put in just a few. it's actually sad.
i would never recommend this mcdonalds to anyone, all the workers are rude too.
i greatly recommend the one in Jaffery, those fries always taste freshly made and they have never messed up my order before.
Edit: it's been a couple years of going here since it's close, and everytime I come they are just rude. It's not even funny how many times they are rude with no reason, to the point where they mess up my food seemingly on purpose. every. Single. Time. I. Come. This place has to get shut down from how unclean the inside is and how rude everyone is. Also how slow, everyone will tell you that you'll wait 30-60 minutes and honestly it's true unless your lucky. But good luck having tasty food from this mcdonalds since they fail at that too, freshness is not the phrase to EVER explain this place, always sucks and I'm done giving this place a chance, and...
