Having eaten my share of fine chocolates, from both local chocolatiers and European importers, I can say unequivocally that MELT chocolates rank among the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the chocolate is sublime. The truffles have the perfect ratio of coating chocolate to filling. The fillings are not overly sweet, allowing the flavors to shine. So its a tiny chocolate shop within a bakery. Be prepared for that, dont be confused like I was looking for a sign saying "Melt" on the door. I must have drove around 5 times before I gave up and decided to try the bakery. Amazing croissants...fresh baked daily in house. They seriously melt in your mouth with a buttery crispy crunch. Great service and communication! I asked Meredith to put together an assortment of dark chocolates for my Mom for Mother's Day. Included was an 8 piece of assorted Dark truffles, a separate box of caramels both salted and plain but all dark chocolate, a bag of dark chocolate pretzels, a box of Chocolate covered fudge, and a chocolate and strawberry bar!
