This review is based of off my first visit here on March 13th, 2017, dinner service experience.

This place is easy to miss when driving past if you have not been there before. Parking is OK, probably better or worse depending on the day and time of your visit. The restaurant itself is very small with only six booths and three 4-top tables in the middle.

There were plenty of other patrons there, a few couples and a few families with small children, everyone was welcome. Very family friendly which is nice. The music playing was good, exactly what I’d expect to hear when dining at a Mexican restaurant and only added to the pleasant atmosphere.

Sadly, they do not have queso here, though the server suggested the quesadilla and chorizo as it was similar. It was melted cheese and chorizo served inside a crispy tortilla with soft tortillas on the side; it was delicious! I ordered the pollo acapulco and it was not only brought to me with a nice presentation, but the flavors were amazing and worked harmoniously with each other. The portions were great and I didn’t have to “thin out” any of my ingredients to make it go around when making little tacos with my corn tortillas. My husband ordered the chicken fajitas and, same as mine, presentation and flavors were wonderful! The black bean soup and the chicken soup(?) were both very good as well.

Overall experience was great. I would give this place a 9/10 for sure. The prices are good and the portions are perfect. The food is tasty and presented nicely and the atmosphere is perfect for the type of restaurant. Service was fast and friendly, even though it looked like there was only one guy working there as host, server, and buser, he was doing a great job and was super nice!...

Overall pleasant experience. A small place (strip mall retail size - 8+ four tops?), it was busy, but we never felt ignored or pressured. In retrospect, I am surprised at how intimate and quiet the experience was - we had no trouble talking across the table without strain or loud talking. All while takeout operations were happening right behind us. We sat front window booth - 4 adults would have been cozy, but doable. Food was as described by othe positive reviewers, and beyond what the modest appearance suggests. If cilantro is not your thing, be sure to ask about removing it. The house sauce for the chips was medium cilantro, the shrimp tacos were topped with a couple of heavy pinches each - easy to remove but easier to not add in the first place. The Margherita's were excellent. The mix was delicious and they do not skimp on the tequila. At $13 for the premium I felt like I got my money's worth - desired another but not a rideshare charge going home! Black beans were a surprise+, chicken soup was zucchini soup with chicken (still good), nachos are a 4 person app, the Carne asada was generous and properly cooked and seasoned. Shrimp tacos were quite good - easily handled and double shelled. The rice and refried beans were unremarkable. We should have passed on dessert- the flan was ok. A pleasant dinner in a...

Casa Guerrero reminds you what a true dining experience should be. Friendly people who want you to love the food they make and enjoy making it. There's so much to love here so we tried a little of everything. It wasn't our intention to try a bit of a lot but everything on the menu is tempting! It would be worth it to make this a regular spot and work your way through the menu.

We ordered the chicken nachos and Chile relleno plate. These aren't your regular nachos with grilled chicken pieces. These are beautiful crispy tortilla chips, smothered in beans, coated in cheese, layered with salsa and served next to a tostada bowl of crema and guac. It's a hefty plate and I loved every bite of these. The Chile relleno is a cheese lovers dream and served with super good beans and rice.

A meal also comes with a side of soup, salad or beans and all of the choices are not just you're basic side options either. They brought us a bowl of the chicken soup to try and it was heavenly! The bean soup was also so good, it really makes you look at beans differently and cherish them a lot more. Everything was phenomenal and I consider this a...

This little place is a cute, cozy, welcoming place. The staff are hardworking and you can tell they have lots of returning/familiar customers. This was my first time there and I will return to try different items. Their Cadillac margaritas were AMAZING, decently made. Their Cielo, Mar y Tierra plate was good and their adobada tacos meat was too! Their plates come with rice, beans and your choice of chk veggie soup or beans, I thought that was odd at first, but it was very unique and the soup was very good! Overall Their unique plates are ~25$ but this was decent. My "well done" mean tho was very crispy on one side but overall decent. I will come again and try a diff item. The only reccomendation would be for owners to keep up with basic restaurant needs, my photos look pink because all 4 of their double light fixtures needed new light bulbs (they turn pink then red, they were RED!), I don't think they realize those in the middle sitting actually couldn't see well once it was getting dark outside. The side tables had tiny lights on the side.
