Gourmet Latte #8 — Restaurant in Mill Creek

I come here often and usually have a fine experience, but they handed my boyfriend his drink and it spilled all over him so they offered to make a new one which we were thankful for. Instead of making a 20 oz triple breve with no flavor like he ordered they made a 16 oz white chocolate breve (I ordered a 20 oz of that). This was a problem because he has type 1 diabetes so we had to have the drink remade AGAIN for him and she was not happy. He handed her my drink back on accident and when we asked for it back she refused to give it back to us even though my drink was fine, and said “I’m just gonna make them both new because that one is tossed”. All shakey and mad. Then when she handed us the drink she slammed the window on us and went to the next customer. I understand that we took a long time and maybe she was confused but it really was not our fault and we even explained that he has diabetes so he cannot have sugar and that’s the only issue. I ordered a 16 oz decaf Americano (triple shot, inch of cold oat). Got exactly what I ordered. And it was AMAZING. Being a barista, I connected with the barista working. She was amazing. Ended up sitting there for nearly 10 minutes just talking to her about life, work, etc, (no other cars came around as it was late). Will definitely be back just to talk to my new friend! Ordered an iced chai that they had promoted as creamy in the menu and it clearly said it came with oat milk cold foam on top. When she handed me my drink with no cold foam or whip on my other iced coffee, I asked about the cold foam and she said ohhh I thought it said oat milk in the drink. She seemed agitated I said something about it and asked “do you want me to do it” with a bothered attitude. I said no thanks, clearly it was an inconvenience to do so.
