La Palmera is a Mill Creek town center staple. It's been here since before the town center itself was built. It's a great go-to sports bar! With TV's on every inch of available wall space, it's the perfect place for after work drinks n grub, or to watch the game w/friends. The food is standard Mexican fare in the vein of Azteca. The chips are made in house and served warm. The salsa is meh, and the pico de gallo used to be better. It won't blow your mind but it'll fill your tummy. And the kitchen is fast as lightning! My one complaint is that my meal felt rushed. Rushed to order, food rushed to the tabled, rushed to pay without even being asked if we'd like dessert. And they've got some good ones! Fried ice cream, churros, flan, etc... so that was a shame. I don't like being acutely aware that they're trying to turn over my table as fast as humanly possible. And unfortunately that was my experience last visit. I was also bummed out to find they'd taken Baja Enchiladas off the menu. The Enchiladas de Camarones were not the same. It can get a little busy every night of the week, and sometimes there's a wait of about 15 mins. I don't think they accept reservations. But the bar is big, and you can always seat yourself there until a table comes up. There's free streetside parking available, and overflow parking on either side and in back. I'm certain I'll eat there again.

I searched for about an hour before deciding on La Palmera, for a dine-in Mexican restaurant that I wanted to eat at. It's so hard to find authentic Mexican food, not like what Washington *thinks* is authentic. I had been planning to eat here for about a week before I actually did, because I had a bodybuilding competition and was going to be in the area. It had been nearly 7 months since I had been able to eat Mexican food because of the strict diet I have been on. I would give 5 stars based on service alone, because they were very accommodating for my group, and especially patient with me when I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to eat (because I wanted all of it lol). The food was very tasty, but it still wasn't quite the authentic flavor that I was after. I would come back, but I'll keep looking for an authentic sit-down restaurant or if I don't care to dine-in, I'd eat at a taco truck or taqueria.

The host was welcoming and we were quickly seated. Went in here on Sunday eve and the place was half full. Chips and salsa were served the second you are seated down. On to the food, guac was a very timing serving for 10$, didn’t have anything in it except tomatoes. For mains we got the veggie tacos : it has corn salad type filing and was tasteless ( no spice, no lemony feel nothing) Spinach enchiladas: these were good, the sauce on the enchiladas was tasty. Veggie burrito bowl : just more of rice and beans and not much of the veggies. Surprising part any of the veggie dishes came with guac or avocados which I have seen most restaurants serve with. For dessert for the chocolate flan, this was pretty good. Summary: not a place a I would recommend if you are vegetarian.

Came here tonight with some family members. 1st waitress was a bit snobby. Got another waitress with glasses who seemed nice. Food was ok...only problem I had was portion sizes. When I received my quesadilla there was a very small teaspoon sized amount of guacamole. I asked for more...and got charged $3. Stingy. You give me an adult sized quesadilla with a tiny amount of guacamole? Same with the to go salsas...very small containers. I go to Tampico's in Everett...everything is plentiful. I don't have to ask for extra sauce. And they are on it getting re-fills or anything else you may need. I ordered carne asadas to go and I got brown guacamole. Come on guys... I will say the food quality at this La Palmera is better than Everett's.

By far my favorite Mexican restaurant of them all. Service is always exceptional and super fast. The food is always piping hot and I’ve never ordered anything I haven’t liked. I first rate a Mexican restaurant based on their chips + salsa + pico de gallo. Not only do they bring them out right away here, their chips and salsas are always packed with so much flavor and just the right amount of heat, chips are light, crispy, and not too oily, and the combination of all of those make them my favorite!! Their chicken burritos, shrimp fajitas, and ceviche are some of my favorites on the menu. The bar has great happy hour and is always alive with sports and music! Love this spot!
