Sparta's Pizza & Pasta House - Mill Creek — Restaurant in Mill Creek

I order from Sparta’s all the time. I usually just order a cheese pizzas and salads for my family. It’s always good and you have the best pizza!! Last time I ordered extra cheese and it was even better. Today I ordered extra cheese again, paid for it, but the pizza did not have extra cheese like last time. It wouldn’t bother me if I didn’t pay extra. I’ve had their regular cheese pizza at least 30 times so I know that there was no extra cheese. I also always order a Greek salad add mushrooms and there is always plenty of fresh mushrooms. Today there was about six shriveled up, old, mushrooms in the salad. I’ve worked in restaurants for 21 years as a server so I get sometimes you are busy and overlook an add on on the ticket, or you are almost out of mushrooms on the line and don’t want to restock so you just put what you have. But paying customers want consistency in what they order. Maybe pre portion amounts so they are always the same? I’m just a bit disappointed and wanted to let you know about my experience. We’ve been to/ordered from Sparta’s in Lynwood several times over the years. Based on that experience, I was thrilled that a closer location opened up. Well, that excitement was short lived.

The menu is the same, but the portions and flavor isn’t. We ordered a salad and a medium pizza. The salad was a lot smaller than Lynnwood. For the price point being the same, the value is terrible.

We were quoted twenty minutes to pick up the order. My husband said to me that was a stretch considering how involved the pizzas are. We got there 25 minutes later and the food was ready. Kind of.

The dough of the pizza was very thin. Overall, the thickness of the pizza was thin. It tasted and looked like the pizza was undercooked.

Overall the flavor of the food was good. Lynwood’s output has been incredibly tasty.

I'm only giving them 2 stars for cleanliness and good service. The pasta I ordered was with pesto basil sauce and I wasn't expecting it to be soup like (extremely watery) and when I pulled it out of the bag it dumped very hot liquid all over my hand and pants. The 3 cheese tortellini was very salty and tasted like it was frozen and heated up. The salad was awful and left a very bizzare aftertaste. The ranch was clearly watered down. When you see watery ranch with bubbles it's a pretty clear indication they're suffering financially and thus water sauces down to prolong their use, however it makes it nasty. The only good part of my lunch was the thick cut Buttered toast that I was not even told comes with the pasta (a pleasant surprise). No forks and napkins in my to go bag either, thankfully I had some in my work truck. Not eating...
