Habanero's Méxican Restaurant — Restaurant in Millbrook

Went here for cinco DE Mayo and was very disappointed. It was our 1st time here and our food was over an hour before we got it and it was cold. We complained about the food being cold They took it back and supposedly made it new for my wife but it came back almost identical to the way it went into the kitchen and was still cold. My food was barely warm after being taken back Like they just put it under the salamander to melt the cheese again But it was barely melted. Our drinks were good. But my wife's food was cold my kids food was cold And mine was barely warm. No one ever asked us if we wanted any more drinks But they did however Bring us 3 baskets of chips while we were waiting. My husband and I came in here during my lunch hour and had to wait almost 20 minutes just to order because our waiter disappeared and all the other waitresses decided to sit at a table and play on their phones and chit chat. When we were finally able to order, I ordered the Burrito California and when it came out there were one or two pieces of steak tucked into the end of it and the rest of it was a tortilla filled with rice. When I informed the waiter of this he looked at me and said, "Ok so what do you want me to do about it?" Very rudely and with a nasty tone in his voice. Was hoping for a more authentic experience but this is very much a regular run of the mill restaurant. Ordered the carnitas and a vegetarian combo along with a mango daiquiri margarita. I can say that there could not have been any alcohol and for 14 bucks there should have been. The carnitas were ok but I had a huge chunk of fat in mine. The vegetarian combo was so bland. The salsa was the best thing I ate. The waiters were too busy chatting with the hostess to pay any attention. Ended up getting up to get our own to go boxes and asking at the counter to pay our bill.
