Never Pay Retail — Local services in Millbrook

My husband and I stopped in this week just to browse. Less than 2 minutes past the door my husband couldn't walk away from the Greenworks pressure washer. He's been looking for one the last few months but struggled to justify spending the four to five hundred some of the stores were asking for the pressure level he needed.

There were two prices listed on the box so we checked with one of the store associates, a nice gentleman and after some discussion we ended up being offered $20 less than the lowest price listed on the box if we took it that day...which we did! My husband loved that he had the opportunity to discuss price and pay what he felt comfortable paying rather than walking out feeling somewhat robbed for something he really wanted. Overall, great experience! Never know what you might find.

My husband opened up the pressure washer today and it worked great. He's already washed off the side of the house, the shed and his car. He seems happy with how well it works and the purchase overall.

GOT ROBBED BY THE OWNER bought a refrigerator on 8–9-24 didn’t work was told I couldn’t test at store had to take home and test .waited a day to plug it in didn’t work was told I had to wait a week to return the item cause owner was at a funeral in New York waited ,told to wait another week he will call me talked to his father Barry was told I will get my money back when he got back in town got tired of waiting went to store with the refrigerator to return it( had to rent a U-Haul to return )was told owner was at other store and coming to millbrook soon waited two hours. When he arrived he told me we had no business being in his store called the cops on me and told me never to return to his store he didn’t care that there is a 30 day return policy and it didn’t work to get out of his store leave .the cops said he had the right to make us leave his property. Now he has my money and the broken refrigerator I GOT ROBBED FOR 1100 dollars by...

Beware check everything! Bought a 18,000 Btu window unit under the impression it was brand new for $350. And also bought 2 5,000 btu window unit. Drove all the way from Columbus Ga. got home plugged up the 2 5,000 btu Window units. They were new and do work properly. Had to wait to have the plug wired to breaker for the bigger window unit. Finally got that done opened the box for the big unit and could tell it was assembled before. So it’s not new!!! But ok fine we will deal with it! Turn it on. You can hear it cut on but fan was not working. So got to investigating and the whole unit inside is busted like the unit had been dropped. I mean pieces of plastic just laying inside, screws missing that hold the machine together. Just a waste of $350!! Yes it’s been a couple of weeks since I bought the units. I had to wait on An electrician. Have taken pictures and sent a message to the man Scott I purchased the unit from. Just...
