Ashlyn Cake Cottage LLC — Restaurant in Millbrook

I have been ordering cakes with Ashlyn since my first child’s baby shower which was since 2014. My son is now 4...I’ve gotten his shower cake and his bday cake for all 4 years from Ashlyn. I now have a 2year daughter whom I’ve also started off with her shower cake from Ashlyn in 2017 and now I’m on my second birthday cake for her from Ashlyn whom celebrated today during this terrible time with the virus going on, but Ashlynn was there and provided what I needed very prompt very caring very considerate very professional ....so you pretty much get the picture. Customer service is terrible. I’ll attach the entire conversation I had with them just to show the service… once my mother came to pick up the cake at 12pm, she was told I wasn’t to pick up the cake until 3pm. My shower was at 2pm so there is no way that was right.. cake was extremely dry or stale, almost like they made the cake 3 days ahead and iced it this morning. Beautiful cake decorating. Exactly the design I asked for but the taste was embarrassing… not a single person finished their piece and over half the cake was left over. Also I had no say so nor answers about flavors. I guess just be prepared for them to do whatever they want with your cake and be anxious about it coming out how you want just for it to...

I highly recommend Ashlyn's Cake Cottage, everything I've had from there is both beautiful and delicious. Elaine is so creative, and very easy to work with. She made the wedding cake and groom cake for my son and daughter-in-law's wedding last year. as well as petit fours and cheesecake bites. The cakes were amazing, as were the cheesecake bites and petit fours. so moist and fresh, with the best frosting ever!
