Went to this establishment twice. First time.. checked out the waiting list, ambience and overall vibe. I sat at the bar the first time. They stay busy. Nothing spectacular to see at the bar, but the person next to me was cool. I got the wakie wakie - simple and easy. That biscuit was fantastic. Their coffee was good, too. They do provide flavored creamers.. just ask, if they don't offer. My server was super sweet and attentive. Second visit - I don't know about the host. Maybe she didn't get her caffeine in just yet. But all is good. We (3 people) waited in front of an empty 4-person table for 10-15 minutes only to get seated at that very table. Weird. Anywho... got their infamous shrimp and grits - loaded grits at that. Delicious!!! Highly recommend that dish. Compliments to the chef!! They lost a star because of the staff. For a smaller mom and pop establishment and the praises I've heard about this restaurant, I expected the staff would have been an extension of the goodness I heard.

Google brought me here; but I was surprised at how many ppl knew about this gem and didn't share it! A lot of reviews and people I've talked to say it's the best ever for breakfast...do I agree?! No...maybe i went on a bad day. My food was cold and my loaded grits were not flavorful nor plentiful. But would I recommend it... absolutely! It is nestled in a cute little area of hair shops. There are options for indoor and outdoor dining. There was a wait; but not too long. The staff was super friendly and it felt like family. If you are like me and enjoy trying new things, i definitely say give it a try. It is reasonably priced and there is ample amount of parking. Great for friends catch up, family outings for breakfast, or just winging it solo!

WOW, what a find! Open only on Saturdays and Sundays from 8-2pm. These folks bust it for those 6 hours! We got there today at 11:30 and waited for almost 40 minutes for a table. The place is small and very quaint so the wait was expected from reading other posts. We both had plenty of time to review the menu and decided on the Shrimp and Loaded Grits. Absolutely Heavenly and worth the wait. Grilled shrimp perfectly seasoned and the grits were totally a mind blower! Full of flavor and I seriously tried to finish it but I couldn’t.😞 I’m also all about the bathrooms as that’s a part of the restaurant that gets overlooked. Basic is okay but this was sooo super cute and cozy. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu soon. Awesome job!😀

This place would have been alright if I didn’t have a lying waitress. I came for the French toast which the restaurant was sold out of. So, I ask the waitress was their omelets fulfilling and she said yes and promised that I would be full and that it was plenty of food. Get the omelette and it’s just a basic omelette that you can make at the house, it was not stuffed or big. I was expecting it to be stuffed since the waitress said it was fulfilling. I have seen omelets at restaurants bigger than this and cheaper. This was just a simple omelette with 1 biscuit for $14. She could have been honest and suggested another entree instead of lying. I told the waitress that I was still hungry, she just laughed. I already had to wait 30-40 minutes to be seated and another 30 minutes on food, just to get scraps. I should have went to Waffle House or Cracker Barrel. I would have got my food quicker and would have been full. To lie just to get people money is a low. Then when I asked to be checked out she decides to ask other customers to see if they want to check out as well and check everyone before checking me out to be lowdown. Then she proceeds to ask other customers if they were coming back and did they like the food, so I could hear their response. When she gets to me she doesn’t ask those questions because she knew she lied. This place needs to work on their customer service before more people discontinue this place. As for me, I won’t be...

We were just at this restaurant this morning for breakfast, we were excited because we are new to the area and the reviews were great. Well, we were seated, received our drinks and ordered our food. Well, that’s when things went down!!! We never received our food we saw a large group, and other people who came in after us get their food and we still never received our food. Our waitress kept saying our food was coming and still no food. We were waiting for at least 45 minutes and we still never received our food. Once again the waitress came and said our food will be out shortly at this point we don’t want the food. It was only 2 of us and we ordered a Pancake/bacon meal, and French Toast/sausage with a side of scrabble eggs. They were not busy so I’m not sure why we were not getting our food or didn’t get our food. If they forgot our order it would’ve been nicer of them to let us know just don’t keep ignoring us as you walk by with other...
