Joe Mama's — Restaurant in Millbrook

The service here was horrible. I went here over a year ago and it was great. After today I will never go here again. My husband and I got there and they had the door propped open that says do not enter. So we went to the next door and it was locked even though it was time to be open. So we walked back to the second door and asked if we could enter and the owner or manager stated use the other door which we replied it is locked so he allowed us to enter and told us to have a seat. We stated we just wanted to order a to go order. He stated have a seat and someone will take your order. As we were seating down a server opened the other door and a gentleman had a seat and she took his order immediately. He seemed to be a regular. She went into the back and we could hear the manger keep saying get them some menus. A female server walked right by us and headed toward the man that had already placed his order. I said ma’am I believe those are for us because he had his order taken already. She did not say a word just handed me the menus and walked off as if it was an inconvenience. No greeting, no someone will be with you. So we left. Even the manager was cold as far no welcome to Joe Mama’s nothing that made us feel welcomes. Overall the food was ok and the workers were ok. I ordered a chicken sandwich, and the waitress was not sure if I could substitute mayo for the honey mustard (other items on the menu have mayo, btw). She had to ask someone I assume over her if they could "do that." Really? The chicken on the sandwich was in several individual "strips" that made the sandwich sloppy and difficult to "keep together" while eating. I used half a dozen napkins or more to finish the sandwich. The fries were ok but over-seasoned in my opinion, but the diet mountain dew was good and the waitress refilled my drink which was good. The owner (I assume it was the owner) made a comment about a message on my shirt I didn't think was called for (I think he was trying to be funny), and I was rudely told that I was going to the wrong exit as I was leaving the restaurant. I think his exact words were, "that way" while pointing at the other exit like I was an idiot or something. In the future he might say, "please use our other exit, thank you." I won't be...

Once I opened the door, I looked the lady taking orders in the eye & said hello. She said nothing & started helping others. After taking a man's order who obviously was waiting before I arrived, I waited to be acknowledged....... The line started backing up to my left of customers whom had already eaten their meals. She then acknowledges the line & attempts to check them out until of opened my mouth & stated I've been waiting to order. She then takes my order with an attitude, slides he menu for me to read as I askher about the sides they offer. I was thoroughly disapponted that she was the first person I saw I walked into this establishment & I was ignored for approximated 7 mins! That is no way to show customer service. My $ spends just as well as anyone else's! I'm sorry that I'm not a teacher or may not be from around here but I deserved to be treated fairly.
