Food Outlet — Local services in Millbrook

I visited the store on Friday, December 9th about 1730 or a little before/after. I was trying to purchase some milk for a friend of mine since I am a person listed on her WIC information (she was at home sick.) For WIC, you are supposed to purchase the cheapest brand milk. That is what I brought up to the counter. The milk did not ring up so I had the cashier (young girl with afro) to call the manager to see what milk it should be since she could not answer my question.

I am a disabled vet. What we look like on the outside as perfectly fine don't mean we don't have internal medical issues. I asked the RUDE cashier would it be possible for one of the baggers or herself to go get the milk I need. She said no and so I asked, "Who are all these people standing around doing nothing here for?" So once again I had her to call her manager out and I asked her. She had no problem getting someone to get it. Basically, the cashier was lazy and lying.

Customer service that day was horrible. On top of that, I purchased an 18 variety pack of chips and the chips were passed the expiration date inside the box. This was my first...

The stocking crew does an outstanding job. The employees are very nice and helpful. I love the Christian music played.

The freezers are unfortunately old. The chicken in the meat market was bloody and very nasty. The parking lot is hideously filthy. I’ve been told that the customer is being charged more than cost plus 10 percent. I bought sweet potatoes from the produce market, wrapped them individually in newsprint when I got home, and stored them in a clean box in a dark closet with the box closed up. I got ready to use them, and half were filled with maggots. Eggs have ruined before the expiration date and made us sick.

They may not have the best cuts of meat there but you're going get a lot more grocery with your money compared to going to Walmart. I live alone and I can go in there and spend $30 on grocery and what I get will last me almost a full week. And I'm not talking about Ramen noodles. They always have some sale or deals going on there. Since covid-19 started I've noticed that store has been a lot more packed lately than usual. If you want to save some money or just running on bad times I highly recommend this store. Tell them Keith sent you. Nah I'm just joking. Don't say that they're going to look at...
