We came in at about 4:20 on a Monday afternoon three people in the restaurant two had already been served. We were told to seat ourselves by young woman the waitress. We chose a booth seat near the window. We sat down and waited for quite a bit , considering the few customers that were in the restaurant and some of them were already being served food. This was obvious to the Cook, a young man named John ended up handing us our menus with a bright smile on his face and said here y'all could go ahead and be looking the menu. He went back around the counter to begin preparing meals for the other patrons. While we were seated other people came into the restaurant. I noticed the young lady that was supposed to be the waitress was sitting at a table with another new Patron that had come in she never came to our table she never took our order she did nothing for us the cook finally came back out John who was pictured in one of the other reviews with the bright yellow shirt on his personality matches, he kneeled down beside the table, I had a procedure done at the hospital this day so I was a little groggy. He was patient with us took our order, which included two teas. Moments later he spoke with the server and she ended up bringing us two glasses of tea put them on the table and walked away without giving us a straw or anything. John went about preparing the meals and ended up coming back out and now taking our order. Then to my astonishment and I'm still upset !! Writing this , the waitress was short had her hair pulled back in a ponytail with shaved sides heavy set person . This waitress never returned to our table except to bring us the bill. At one point she yelled at us across the room did we want more tea I personally did not want her near my table after that. As for the rest of my review The restaurant was clean and neat, also what appeared to be the owners and managers were busy handling withd eliveries and other business. My husband had to finally ask another woman that was working behind the counter for a couple of straws for our tea which she promptly return to us us with a smile.. the food was fantastic John the cook is evidently multi-talented because the service was great because of him and we left him a substantial tip in appreciation for his job well done great attitude even though he wasn't our waiter he still took care of us as a customer in Huddle House. I definitely would order off the menu and pick it up if John's cooking. However found the service with the particular waitress that chose to ignore us enough to keep me away from...

Strike 2: I called the restaurant at 10:10 a.m. again to place a to-go order, but, again, no one answered the phone. Strike 3: I went to the restaurant at about 10:50 a.m. to place an order. When I walked in, a female cashier was standing at the register at the right end of the counter. I think she was talking to a customer who was sitting in the small booth. I was not greeted, but it was okay. I went to the other register to place an order. A male employee with a ponytail passed me and walked over to the cashier, and they had a conversation about an order. I watched the male take an order from the counter and set it in front of the customer in the short booth. Then, I saw him take the same order from the booth and put it back on the counter. After a back-and-forth between the employees, they finally came to the register where I stood and continued to argue. When I heard the female say to the male, "Why you cussin' at me, tho'?", I interrupted them to say that I wanted to place an order. The female said, "Okay. Just give me a minute", as if she was annoyed that I had interrupted them. I turned around and left.
This is the first time that I visited this restaurant after it had reopened. Before the reopening, I got good food and decent service. I don't know what happened since the reopening, but I will NOT patronize such...
Read moreWhere do I start...our family took our dad there for Father's Day breakfast...they weren't very busy but there were so many dirty tables. We sat at one of the tables and waited for someone to bus it. About 20 minutes passes and waitress cleaned it with a wet rag and left it wet. I went and got paper towels and dried it. Finally seated...waitress told us she would be over in a minute to take our order...25 minutes later she appeared...took order. About 16 minutes later she came to our table and said they are out of country ham...I'm thinking why did it take you so long to tell us that. My sister and I decided not to order anything. We were just sick of it all. She then brought us our ticket. We hadnt even had any food yet. She finally brought our family their food about 25 minutes later but forgot to call in one of the other...my nieces food had to be reordered. Niece got her food about 15 minutes later. They kept apologizing for the horrible service....cooks telling trying to get someone to wash dishes...etc. Horrible experience...left hungry and left no tip....will most likely...
