Hands-down the best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in. Here are the things that stood out to us: 🍳 Breakfast at a local, award-winning restaurant. The Local Yolkal Cafe is just a short stroll away and has everything you could want, from breakfast to lunch, with great service. And you can go whenever you want. 🎀 Amazing vibe and decor. Vintage knickknacks and furniture. Great communal space. We visited before Christmas, and the home was especially gorgeous, tricked out for the holidays. 🏛️ Historic. I'm not usually into historic inns, but this place is so charming, still including all the modern conveniences, that you can't help but fall in love with it. 📍 Location. This is the ONLY place to stay downtown. (Really, it's the only inn there.) Everything is walkable. You've got shopping, dining, entertainment, the GC&SU campus nearby, the visitors center trolley tours and lots more. 🧩 Great if you want to stay in, too. We loved that they had games and puzzles (and snacks!) so we could stay in and just enjoy feeling cozy with a cup of hot cocoa.

Everything was perfectly clean and the charming detailed decor added to our experience. Besides our lovely and well-appointed suite, there were several additional common area seating spaces. Many unique touches such as a well-stocked honor bar, cold water bottles and snacks available. They even have a swimming pool, private to the house. This home is within a short walking distance to historical sites, colleges, and the downtown restaurant area. We truly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend this B&B. You will not be disappointed if...
Read moreThe Inn was exactly as represented. It’s a wonderful old home that has been updated enough to make it convenient. Our room, the Pearl, had an extremely comfortable bed, was decorated nicely, and had a walk in shower in the bath. Jefferson is a busy street so plan accordingly for sound. We loved the Local Yolkal with every meal being delicious. The flexibility of being able to eat on our schedules was perfect. The hosts are awesome and spent time suggesting local attractions. I would highly recommend staying at the Inn. We enjoyed coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch but could have also sat on the veranda. The Inn is within walking distance...
