Watch out walking into this McDonaldโs which is located in the lovely village of millersburg Ohio, you never know what to expect as far as, the employees using profanities very loudly with no caution to customers, to no one wanting to help you with your order even if their are self service kiosk machines, not everyone wants to place their order this way alot of people still carry cash, but if you do happen to go in and wish t to have your order taking by an employee, be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes, because they consider the drive thru more important than the lobby orders. 3 times I have been in there this week to pick up mobile orders and while waiting I watched 3 people walk in separately in a ten minute time frame, they told the first customer โIโll be with you in just a secondโ as she was just standing there waiting for sandwiches to be made to expedite out to the drive thru. There is no such thing as multi tasking at this McDonaldโs. This McDonaldโs is full of complete laziness. There is no reason you can not take a customers who is in the lobbyโs order while waiting on your drive thru order to be made, it is all a matter of 6 feet to the register and then back to your original standing position. Food is almost always screwed up, fries are always cold and chicken nuggets do not even get me started, cold and nasty. They raised their prices due to minimum wage going up but they definitely didnโt raise their quality of food presentation. This McDonaldโs use to be a great place, until they started getting workers from other towns who donโt cafe about common sense or common...
ย ย ย Read moreTook 15 minutes to get my order. I did not think to order a coffee, and was not offered one as an upsell. After waiting 15 minutes for my order, I realized it had been entered wrong. I had ordered a big breakfast, and when asked, told the clerk I did not want hot cakes. When order was received, I had hotcakes and sausage. If the food had been a decent temperature, I could have overlooked that. The sausage gravy was not nearly hot enough, which gave me pause: if the food that's literally kept hot isn't hot, what does that say about the rest of the food?
Although they were a bit busy, they could not keep up with the reasonable number of customers. Of course, there were another three employees doing things not related to serving food, but the manager seemed to not have any grasp on how staffing works during times of high traffic.
I cannot recommend this place. One of the apparent managers fixing the food was ignoring the next prep cook in line and literally throwing people's food a few feet into the staging area. They seem to have absolutely no regard for the food they are shoveling out.
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised though. I didn't learn my lesson six months ago, I guess, when I ordered a triple cheeseburger and received a double with three slices of cheese. Twice. Training seems nonexistent here,...
ย ย ย Read morePreviously, I've had satisfactory experiences with both service and food at this establishment. However, during my most recent visit, I encountered a situation that left me feeling undervalued as a customer. Upon entering a nearly empty dining room, I was directed to use a kiosk for ordering. This, coupled with a sense of being overlooked by the staff, prompted me to choose an alternative dining option where personal service is more apparent (and for about the same price).
In today's digital age, while automated services offer convenience, there are times when a simple human interaction makes a significant difference, especially in a town with limited evening activities. I believe enhancing customer engagement and offering a more personal touch could greatly improve the dining experience. I hope my feedback is helpful for future...
