The Farmer's Porch at Tangerini's Farm — Restaurant in Millis

I got the grilled cheese here. Most places that claim to serve a fancy grilled cheese are lying but Farmers Porch just labels it grilled cheese and yet theirs is gourmet with fresh sour dough bread, good cheese and nice crisp to the bread either from and oil or butter. I truly enjoyed my meal even got it again when I went back.

The atmosphere is very peaceful here with the farm all around and the live music on the weekend. Even when crowded it was nice to sit outside and enjoy fresh food and fresh air.

It was fun to see the cows grazing in the far distant field. Driving out their unused field had some very pretty wild flowers.

My girlfriend and I had an appetizer, but the service was so slow that we asked for our check before our mains even arrived and left. I ordered a $12 Bloody Mary partly because it was supposed to come with candied bacon, but they didn’t mention it was out when I ordered. When I asked, the waitress with purple hair (not our waitress) said they were out with an attitude and she wouldn’t make more—unnecessarily rude. We also overheard another young staff member using the F-word. Overall, the waitstaff all seemed overwhelmed and frustrated, which made the service feel chaotic and unprofessional. I completely enjoyed my meal and the setting is gorgeous. Take away service and ice cream stop is also on location.

My only concern is that the weekend lunch dining is my reservation only. It was not noted on the website only signs posted once I had already driven to the farm. Had it been noted on website with quick access to the reservation link all would have been good. Luckily, they were not fully booked and I was able to quickly make a reservation through google for the next...
