Victory Lane — Restaurant in Millis

I try to leave reviews based upon the expectation one should have on the type of establishment they are visiting. This can be labeled a "townie bar" but in my opinion, this designation means that anyone not local isn't welcome. Here, there's a very diverse crowd that is very friendly to anyone who happens to be there. The drinks are very reasonably priced and the food is excellent for "bar food". The portions are huge and always fresh and hot when delivered. As a bonus, I would strongly recommend a visit on Friday nights. They get in fresh fish and I can honestly say that the fish and chips are some of the best I've had. The fish fillet is thick and the batter perfectly crispy and not overly thick or greasy. That said, you really can't go wrong ordering any seafood on Friday nights (the whole belly clams are also excellent)! Best dive bar...

Great place Great food I usually go with my wife who is a beautiful Maraccan woman 20 years married and love dearly. Well this clown in his 50's said something about f n Arab loud as he'll. Thank God she was not there at the time! He saw my reaction across bar and apologized twice. I was almost going to put him down Like down! I regained my composure I hope this is not any indication of Millis cause I had a similar experience myself being Jewish with an ignorant person Well I love this place and will continue to go The owners are great The staff is great Food is great Well thought I'd share that cause I don't personally care what religion/nationality anyone is I like people for who they Are!

Locals will probably be upset with me, but I almost feel qualified to speak as a local as I have lived in Millis now for almost 20yrs. This place is not what is used to be. Draft beers used to be crazy cheap and the food was great and always with fresh, hot fries. Last few visits, the food as been just OK. Last visit with the kids was a Tues night, it as dead in there. Got a wrap I've had in the past and the wrap this time was more like lavash bread... dry and the sandwich feel apart in seconds. The kids got hot dogs. They used to have these tasty hot dogs from RI, but they know are just your average hot dog you can buy at the store. None of our fries were fresh either. Miss how...
