We ordered through the drive through yesterday November 21st 2018. The young man was very polite at the drive thru but as soon as we got to the window he read our order back to us and was completly wrong. So once we re ordered again at the window he asked us to pull forward as it was going to take awhile. We pulled around to the front, waited 10 minutes and he finally brought our food out. When we received our food not only was it soggy and cold (should be fresh if you have to wait 10 mins) but the order was WRONG! So we had to go back inside and get it fixed, ask for our taco sauces for a third time and finally they got our order right. When we finally got to eat our food it was so taste less and bland neither of us finished even half of our burritos. Needless to say we will not be going back. Another thing I would like to comment on is the disgusting hygiene of the employees who work there and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The employees look like they have not showered in weeks and they talk about VERY inappropriate things right in front of customers. When we first pulled into the drive thru it looked like almost all of the employees were outside smoking cigarettes right next to the drive thru. This is very disappointing as we love Taco Time usually but the one at the corner of Trent and Argonne is a no go from us. Sounds like new management needs...
Read moreThe only reason I’m giving 5 stars is because of the young men working there. They looked so un happy to be at work but still we’re trying their best to be there. They are making this place function. 12:30pm I went there and got two crisp burritos. There was no happiness, there was no joy. To my astonishment I hear the female manager BARKING orders from the back at those young men. Now I have NEVER called an establishment to tell someone about themselves but you bet I did. Those young men need a place of enjoyment and opportunity not being miserable and barked at. As I told her on the phone, i understand if you are busy but that is not how you get your employees on your side. I also mentioned something to the worker and said “don’t let her talk to y’all like that” it was CRAZY. they mentioned something along the lines of “it gets so much worse”. Read moreI pull up to the drive thru and am asked to wait. After waiting for 4 minutes at the drive thru to place my order I order 2 soft tacos and 1 crisp meat burrito. I wait for the 2 cars ahead of me and then I get to the window. An astonishing 15 minutes later, I am still waiting. I know my order should have been ready, I was informed they needed to make more meat. I was informed that there was enough meat for 1 of the soft tacos. I then asked if I could get a refund for the one soft taco... "no, the person who does single item refunds is not in" I asked what my options were ... "you can wait or we can refund the whole order".
I counter with "...or you can refund my first order and ring up one soft taco and one crisp meat."
3 minutes later I am given a less than crisp meat burrito and a soft taco.
I love Taco Time, I do. But this visit was NOT a win. I do not know if I was refunded or charged twice or anything, as I was never given (or asked if I wanted) a receipt for my credit card...
