The dinuguan was served on a sizzling hot pan and reminded me of what the dish would be like if it was dinguan sisig (style). As it turns out this is the best way to eat dinuguan. The blood is not too soupy and the consistency is great, and the flavors just pop with the added heat and subtle peppers.
The arroz caldo was not the highlight of the meal but still very good. I'm not sure if adding fried chicken inside the soup adds much to the dish (I would have preferred it to the side). On a cold day, it was warm, comforting, and not too salty.
