The Note — Restaurant in Milpitas

I've been going to the Note for years. It used to be called "The Blue Note" but the blue meanies from Napa forced them to change their name. I'm not one of those types to ever drink to excess. The Note is very careful to make sure each patron has not had too much to drink.

The owners' daughter is one hot ticket. I've asked her to marry me at least 47 times and time she just laughs at me tells me I should buy her a drink and give her $5 for the juke box.

One of the things that surprises me is they are all Trump supporters. Trump 2020 banners decorate the place. Everybody wears MAGA hats and drinks shots and beers and plays country music.

Every Friday night there a Trump Supporting DJ who plays loud music and everybody country line dances to sound of Dixie. I show up and wear my MAGA hat and everybody loves me.

I heard a rumor the Trump is going to drop in soon and buy a round for the bar in honor of the solid support he gets from this place.

There's plenty of parking the air conditioning is always on. Some of the bartenders wear these low cut blouses and when they bend over to ask you what you want OH MY GOD....

Read the reviews so decided to walk 2 miles from the hotel to check this place out. What a mistake. No live music and the place was dead. However they wanted to charge us a $40 cover just to get in and listen to 70s soul off the jukebox. Place had maybe 2 patrons other than who I assume were employees. Maybe I’m missing something here but never heard of a cover to get into a dive bar and listen to a jukebox.

Or maybe they were just charging us that to keep us from going in because we didn’t look like we fit their normal demographic. Either way was treated pretty...

I have been at the note a half dozen times. Starting last year. NOW IT HAS DEFINITELY GONE HILL. My son was in town, he wanted to go a laid-back place to have a drink. We sat at the bar woman were coming up to my son to talk. The old regular did not like it. Tried to start a fight with me son. The owner daughter sat at the other end bar and did nothing, nor did security. I returned a month later thinking it was one time thing. Once again same guy is in there doing the same thing. I ask the bar tender why the allow back in there bar? ...BECAUSE HE SPENDS...
