Disappointing Experience with Cake World

We recently ordered a birthday cake for my son, expecting quality based on their reputation. Unfortunately, the actual cake differed significantly from the advertised image.

To clarify, the cake was ordered under my wife Sravani's name, and I picked it up. Our primary concern was the significant discrepancy between the our requested image and the actual product. The final cake didn't match our expectations or the reference picture provided by us.

We experienced poor communication when attempting to resolve this issue with your team.

I stand by my original review and will not revisit your establishment.

We recently placed a large catering order with Cake World and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the very first phone call to the final delivery, the team led by Karun was incredibly professional, attentive, and accommodating.

The food was the true highlight absolutely delicious, authentic, and beautifully presented. Every dish was packed with flavor, from the perfectly spiced curries to the fluffy naan and fragrant biryanis. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the butter chicken and the vegetarian options, which were equally rich and satisfying. Even the appetizers and desserts were spot on, fresh, flavorful, and generous in portion.

What impressed us just as much as the food was the seamless coordination. Everything arrived on time, piping hot, and well-packaged. The staff helped tailor the menu to our group’s needs and made sure all dietary preferences were taken into account.

Ordered a cake for my party, I wasn't pleased with any of their selections and was told to come by the next day so they could show me more options. When I went back, they asked what I decided without showing me the extra options. The baker also said they could customize based on my requirements, so I gave them a picture of a cake and asked to replicate the look with 2 tiers instead of 4. The cake looked nothing like what was shown. The cake molding was hard that we weren't able to cut without the cake coming apart. I would have gladly found another vendor if they would have been upfront of not being to replicate it or if they had let me know that their experience was only making children's birthday cakes. I was told a certain price when the order was placed and the amount went up an extra $70 when we went to pay. The only reason I went with them was because I was short on time and a family friend had recommended their services and that their cakes are light and fresh. I was extremely disappointed with my order and the service received, they were quite rude when I asked about the price discrepancy. I do not recommend this...
