I have been to this place today , while we got the place after 25 minutes of waiting my overall experience has been mixed. Today is my son’s 21st birthday.. I have read many reviews for this restaurant and the way owner is responding is amazing however I believe the issues have not been addressed or they are not able to manage We went to the restaurant at 1.40 PM and got a place to sit at 2.05. First 10 minutes we had to wait for the staff to refill the food and even after waiting they could fill only one bowl( only 1 snack bowl was filled and rest 6-7 were empty, you can check the cameras ) we being hungry had to eat what was available rather than what we wanted to expecting the items would be filled at some point of time. Eventually few more items were filled by the time we were almost done with eating For Vegetarian dishes and veg eaters it’s a strict No as none of them were interested to fill anything, my wife ended up eating lemon rice… none of the veg snacks were filled on time, in palak paneer only palak gravy was there and no paneer. The waiters were clueless as upon repeated requests to refill they said they informed the kitchen but for every 10-15 minutes one item is being filled. I understand you might be preparing dishes in batches but the size of each batch should be much larger considering weekends. I paid $120+ today but couldn’t eat the food in the order it’s supposed to or with few items never refilled While the few items I had were prepared well if only I could have the food...

I recently visited Blockbuster on a Friday night at 11:30 PM, and despite the late hour, I had a wonderful dining experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The standout aspect of my visit was the waitress, who was incredibly helpful in assisting me with my dish selection. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she ensured I made a choice I would enjoy.

I decided on the mutton Thalappakatti biriyani, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, making it one of the best biriyanis I've had in a long time. Despite it being close to the restaurant's closing time, the service was quick and efficient. The staff showed no hesitation in serving me, which I greatly appreciated.

The cleanliness of the restaurant was also noteworthy. Everything, including the restroom, was spotless, which contributed to a pleasant dining environment. The only minor drawback was that the tables were a little oily, which was a bit off-putting but didn’t overshadow the overall positive experience.

Blockbuster clearly prioritizes customer satisfaction, and it shows in their attentive service and quality of food. The friendly demeanor of the staff, combined with the excellent dish I enjoyed, ensures that I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend Blockbuster for anyone looking to enjoy a late-night meal with great service and delicious food. Just a little attention to the table cleanliness, and it...

My friends and I went for the buffet which was $21.99 with unlimited beers included.

The restaurant has a okish ambience. The bar and outdoor seating looks good though.

In the buffet the only thing good was the non vegetarian starters. The butter chicken was cold, other chicken curry pieces had chicken skin on it ( personally I don't like it ). The biryani had more rice and less chicken pieces🥲.

Vegetarian dishes were a disaster, no daal makhani, rajma, malai kofta etc. The only thing good to eat was paneer tikka masala. Not good options for a vegetarian people and paying that much money not even worth it.

Coming to dessert, I was expecting atleast gulab jamun, rice pudding but they had completely different options which I felt was a waste.

Coming to service, we saw only one person serving rotis (why), by the time I wanted rotis the person was not around. For cleaning they had just one lady. They replaced plates with paper plates and plastic cutlery later on. The refilling of the dishes were slow too.

Overall, I felt $21.99 for a buffet was costly, I am not sure about menu dishes, but its hard to say if we would be coming back for the buffet again.

Personally, I would some what recommend this place for a buffet ( only for...

Today i had an excellent festival bhojanam feast, Satisfying a bangalorean is difficult. I am vegetarian and foodie. Service: today waiters served well. Food: Vada was amazing, last i had a good vada in bangalore only. You dont get such vada in whole Atlanta. Outside was crispy and inside smooth,Baadusha was excellent authentic, michi was good. Junnu was also superb. Holige(obbattu) which is a rare get in US, chef made sure that all us get a perfect holige for this occasion. He stuffed sweet ball enough and edges were smooth. Puliyogare was normal it can be improved more. pulav was good. I am not big fan of daal if its sour with too much tamarind i dont like it. Maybe this is how andra and chennai people eat. So i dont mind. Sambar and rasam was ok. Pickles came at the end, those are signature dish from andhra so it was excellent taste. I enjoyed my food today.

Thoroughly enjoyed both veg and non veg meals. The flavours are mouth watering n lipsmacking mainly the gun powder n roti pachadi definitely reminded me of INDIA.Completely Nostalgic with friendly staff and good service and the Non veg meals are out of the box especially that monagadu mutton fry which we took as separate side dish is completely out of the box. Eagerly waiting for other varieties of items to be launched and not to forget the prices are also very less when compared to others in the market with completely delicious food and quality of meals, specially mentioning they claim not using tasting salt, color and maida maximum which is completely safe for everyone. So I would definitely suggest everyone to happily visit the restaurant and experience amazing homely food. Excited to keep coming back. GOOD LUCK and CONGRATULATIONS TEAM BLOCKBUSTER
