Read a rave review online and decided to give it a try. Just like authentic California street tacos it said. Best tacos in Georgia it said. Entering the door, the first thing I noticed was the musty smell and pushed aside the instinct to leave because the review I read was soo positive. Took forever to place an order as they seemed short staffed, but finally ordered 10 tacos because there were rules about mixing the proteins in smaller quantities. Asked for chorizo, steak and BBQ.

Cutting to the chase, we asked for flour tortillas and received all corn. Further, the only recognizable taco was chorizo. All the others looked like some version of either shredded or chunked chicken. Worse of all, they were all dry, bland and other than the cilantro and lime we added, quite tasteless. The chips were passable but the cheese dip was orangish and looked and tasted like a cheap Kroger brand.

As I was waiting to get the tacos, several large families had created a decent line, but I should have braved the overworked staff and returned the food - the second time I overrode my instincts.

Bottom line, it's a hard...

TL;DR Decent, fast Mexican food served in pizza containers.

Not gonna lie. I wasn't getting the whole pizza vibe when I walked in and saw the menu split up in weird pizza-themed stuff like the Taco Pizza or the PizzaDilla.

Once you have a good look at it, you'll see it kind of makes sense. Most things are served in pizza boxes arranged in pie shapes. A taco pizza is basically a tacos arranged in a circle, same with the tortas, and the quesadilla. I think they break from this form on the burrito though. :)

The food is pretty good but not my favorite. However, I see this being a rotational spot for a quick pick-up on the way home. The way they do stuff -- curbside, delivery, dining -- makes it convenient.

I had a lunch special pizzadilla which was enormous and filling. The chips and salsa -- meh. Chips are basically out of a bag and salsa seemed canned/jarred rather than fresh. Truth is, I don't hate any chips and salsa though. Pizzadilla was a bit too salty and the nachos a bit too bland.

Anyway, give it a try. It's gonna be...

Born and raised Mexican post here (from Guadalajara!! The land of tequila... And birria!)

I came with very low expectations, as Mexican food in Georgia is not very good to be honest (with rare exceptions). Trust me, I've just relocated because of work from Mexico 5 years ago, I lived in Mexico 33 years, so trust me, I can tell you about Mexican food in the US.

Quesabirrias, or how I know them "tacos de birria dorado con queso" is a hidden gem. Very well cooked birria, and to present the tortilla fried in the fat of the consomé is a technique I thought I would never find in the US, and I lived in California for 3 years, believe me, I tried to find these type of tacos.

I laughed at the post saying "if you're a vegetarian, you'll leave the place hungry"...I mean...dah! ... Well, I guess she could have ordered some cilantro and onion 🤪

Long story short, give these guys a try.

I'm guessing I'll be coming here...

Thankful I found this little taqueria. The good: seems like fresh and cooked to order. Salsas were good, like how they included. Onions and cilantro. Quality of the meats were good. Also, I really liked how they used two tortillas to double up on these taco. Obviously, taste was quite good and is comparable to real Mexican tacos that have had in multiple cities in Mexico. The bad: Nothing really bad but one thing that caught me off guard is that if you just order one birria taco, it does not come with consome which is crazy. They actually charge $3 extra for a cup of consome. It should be expected to get some consume for your birria taco even if it's a tiny little cup which would be enough for one taco. Please fix this otherwise, it would have been 5 out of five stars.

Really really loved the idea behind the menu for this restaurant! They make it super easy to go with a small group of friends or family to get a box of really fresh tacos! They have a sortment of combinations that you can get from Al Pastor to Chorizo. I ended up with Birria because why not?!! They did a bang-up job on the protein they used! Nicely shredded and we'll-seasoned. It tasted like it was slow cooked (which is always the best way for Birria!) The consumé was on point! Wasn't loaded with onions, cilantro, and it didn't have pieces of Birria proteins in it but it was like a warm blanket that coats your mouth! So good! I didn't know this place existed until I accidentally found it on Google Maps! I will be back for sure!
