El Bucana's Taqueria — Restaurant in Milton

My first visit and I was excited for the street tacos. I ordered the Friday special which had 3 street tacos with beans and rice and I dined in. I was promptly served since the place was empty. I enjoyed the tacos but the rice was barely warm and beans were cold, neither had any flavor and I barely ate any of it. I ordered 2 steak and 1 chicken taco but got the opposite which was fine but I can't stand cold food. My late lunch was over $15 and included a beer which isn't real expensive but I don't think what I got was worth that. From 1st impressions it's hard to say if I'll ever go back, I love fresh authentic Mexican and they have the potential of being very good but I can't eat cold food when it's expected to be hot. I gave a 3 based on my single experience from a limited purchase. 3 months later: I came back to edit my post after reading other reviews. I find it very interesting that the owner only responds to those that give a positive review? Seems to me that it would be wise to apologize to those who had a bad experience due to poor quality in food or service or possibly offer them the $5 discount if they'd come back and try again. Seems like the owner may not have a lot of experience in dealing with the public and lacks the ability to satisfy a customers desire to eat good food because there are many bad reviews on here and mine wasn't even bad...

My partner and I have eaten there 3 times or so always good, but last night will be the last time we eat there ever again. Stopped in and grabbed some street tacos and side of rice and beans along with a order of chips and salsa. Got home and the chips were pretty stale to the point we tossed them right away. Upon dishing up dinner I asked my partner does this smell weird?? Her response maybe but we were hungry and didn't put much into it!! Big mistake, very big mistake we ate our dinner and it tasted ok but within 90 min we both were throwing up!! Our Saturday evening and night till about 4 am was spent taking turns in the bathroom. Our Sunday was wasted because we spent majority of the day sleeping. Be warned people because we have had to spend our weekend recovering. Oh yeah put the left overs originally in the fridge. By 1 am our fridge smelled rancid and right away we discovered it to be the left over tacos. Never ever will we be eating there again and spending our hard earned money just to be sick for...

They messed up almost our entire order. We ordered through Doordash, I selected chicken for the fajitas and was given steak. I also put “dairy allergy, no cheese no sour cream.” But we were given both. I also ordered 6 tacos, 2 with chicken, 2 with steak and 2 with pork. Instead I got 3 chicken and 3 steak. We received the wrong burrito, with completely different ingredients in it. When I called she tried to tell me that the only thing they messed up was the steak instead of chicken for the fajitas so she said she would replace that but I would need to come down and get it. Even though we ordered through Doordash, she said I could try to call them. Then she got flustered because she had other customers and just said “tell me if you’re coming.” And hung up.
