This place has completely went downhill!! This use to be mine and my boyfriend's favorite Mexican restaurant but that is no longer!! Went there last night for dinner and what a joke. First, we get there, get seated. There was another couple who were seated after us but how they were able to order before us, no clue. Second, when we did put our order in, it was very simple. Chicken Flautas for myself and the same exact order for my boyfriend. Simple right? Nope! They messed that up. Approximately 20 minutes later, one flauta dinner and a plate of beans and rice. When asked where the other dinner was, we got the run around. That is not what we said and the next excuse was the server got confused. I am guessing the guy that came over to talk to us was the manager. He said he would get the other meal going and it would be up in about 5 minutes. Five minutes? Really, when it took 20 minutes for the first plate? He brought the other dinner out and they were soggy and clearly not cooked long enough. The chicken was still cold in the middle! The rice and beans were lukewarm at best. Do they not know that anything that is reheated, like the chicken, needs to come back up to 165 degrees. Beans and rice need to be hot held over 135 degrees or reheated to 165. I sure as hell know I do not want food poisoning, which can happen if they are not holding food at the right temperatures, not reheating food correctly, or not cooking it to the correct temps from raw. This has happened on another occasion. We thought we would give them another try, just thinking they were having a bad night the first time. Never stepping back in there! The worst thing was is they didn't even try to make it right. Just kept saying that it was cooked and there was nothing wrong with it. Just beware! Eventually, someone is going to get...
Read moreMy family and I are new to the area and were really looking forward to trying new places in the community. We stopped here before our son's activity and was having a great time. I can't eat dairy, so asked for my food without cheese or sour cream. As I began eating my food (chimichangas), I realized there was cheese in my food. I had only taken two bites out of only one of my chimichangas. Turns out, they switched my and my husband's plates but we didn't recognize it because there was cheese sprinkled on top of his. What ensued next was a lack of care, customer service or even an attempt to rectify the issue.
Initially, the server refused to take my entire plate back. To avoid them having to make his food over (they made his food without cheese inside and he loves cheese!), my husband took my uneaten chimichanga because it had cheese on the inside (although not sprinkled on top). He gave his other chimichanga back to the server. The server then brought me another plate but it only had one chimichanga when the menu item includes two. At this point, we decide to just pay and leave. Then they tried to charge us for my meal! My husband asked them to remove it and they did.
This visit truly disappointed us. The server or cook never apologized for my incorrect order. It was as if they didn't care if we ate there or not and as though we were trying to get free/extra food. Very unpleasant experience. I've worked as a server for many years while in college and I know the process for when costumers have issues. Unfortunately, this staff didn't follow any procedure. Five members of staff just stared at us as we left and no one spoke up for us. It just didn't feel good and was painful to have to explain to our children why we had to...
Read moreFirst time here and it was a horrible customer service experience. I was following the hostess to my table when another guy (who looked at me up and down with despite maybe because I was working so I was dress with work clothes) almost stepped in front of us and told to the hostess to take me to a different area of the restaurant so he did (at first I thought it was because that area was full eventhough wasn't too crowded at that time) anyway the hostess came back with a glass of water and I asked him if the flautas were made with flour or corn tortillas and he said they make it both so I can choose what I prefer so told him I wanted with corn tortilla a little bit after him the waitress came and ask me if my order was the flautas so I assumed the hostess told him what I wanted since he already knew it was flautas so I say yes, when he came back with my flautas I discovered that they were made with flour tortillas so I asked him if they were flour tortillas and he said with attitude and rudeness that the flautas are always made with flour tortilla and point to the menu and told that it was described on the menu but I asked it before ordering, I know misunderstanding are normal but rudeness isn't. Anyway again I started eating when I noticed that the people the was entering after me was taking to the area were I was practically kicked out, not coming back, the food was tasteless and as bad as their customer service, 1 star is too much, I not even...
