Ordered online for takeout since you can't eat there. Once we got to the restaurant found out you can't really eat there anyways. Only 1 or 2 tables and most of the parking lot taken up by their 3 refrigerated trucks, 1 large trailer and 1 more pickup all marked with their logo. I ordered the 1/3 pound Longhorn Burger, with Cheddar, Bacon, Pickle, Onion, lettuce and Tomato with a Side of Onion Rings and Cole Slaw. My Son ordered "The Big Un" with a side of Fries. The Big Un is Slow Smoked Brisket, Bacon and Swiss. They had 2 other customers and 6 people working there. But they still were not real quick. It was a good thing we ordered for pickup. Even that said it would take 20 minutes and was not ready when we got there. You can't order drinks online but they only had Bottle Tea and a few varieties of canned Soda's. So we had to do a second order when we got there. You would think a southern BBQ place would at least have their own homemade Sweet Tea but not here. No type of Fountain drinks and $1.50 per can of Soda was a little much My Burger $9.99 Onion rings included, Individual side of Slaw was $3.00 My Burger resembled something i would thaw from Costco and heat up. But the Costco Angus Patty still would have had more seasoning and flavor. The Burger was dry , no Mayo ketchup or anything on it. A Dry bun with a patty with no seasonings is not a good mix. The Onion rings were ok but they did not taste fresh and tasted like Beer battered onion rings you would buy at Costco and cook in the oven. Cole slaw tasted like something from a BBQ where someone does not know how to cook. Absolutely no flavor at all. It needed some sugar and salt to make it edible. My Sons Sandwich $13.99 and his fries were included The Brisket was again just like the Burger dried out and had no real smokey flavor. It was good thing they gave him BBQ Sauce to go with it otherwise he would not have finished it. They gave him 2 different BBQ sauaces. One that was Sweet and one Chipolte. We couldn’t tell which was which as neither one was really sweet and neither one had any kick to it. The Darker sauce was definitely better but we don’t know what one that was. The Fries were just downright horrible. Big thick cut Steak fries that were flabby soft mush with no salt. They needed to cook them 2 more times at least. Sorry no pictures this time as we did not eat there. But i did include one from their Website

So after being traumatized by Dickey's Seattle Portions (seriously their three meat plate is $23 but you get a couple handfuls of food!), and them being completely out of anything beef on the menu today I thought I'd give Longhorn a try. I got the Big 'Un half-pound sandwich. their three meat plate (I believe it's called the Rustler) and a sideboard. Which is just what they call a side. My $23 one-person meal had two big containers to it. One was just ribs, the other had a huge chicken breast, big leg and six slices of beef brisket. At first I thought I got the wrong order but good god that's just how they do it over there apparently. The sides are... something. I would recommend just not eating the macaroni and cheese, just don't. BUT THE MEAT is actually pretty good and the sauces (I got the sweet, the dark and some au jus for the sandwich eater in the house) are also pretty good. Their giant pork sandwich tasted pretty great. Oh! And the cornbread muffin was pretty good. Haven't had a decent one from a chain since I left Texas so I really appreciated that. TL;DR: Avoid the sides, expect leftovers for a couple days if you get the three meat plate and enjoy yourself.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Feels out of the way, off the beaten path, isolated, etc. Clean, not busy, friendly staff. Lounge entrance is visible from the parking lot, but the restaurant entrance is around the side facing the street. I got a side of macaroni salad $3 - not worth it. Fresh and tasty, but nothing special and not enough of a serving for the price. Shared pulled-pork nachos with my husband $13 - Plenty of pork, but they used cheese sauce. Served with fresh tomatoes, olives, & green onions. On the side were tiny portions of salsa, sour cream, and a smoked guacamole. My daughter got the French dip with fries $11 - Best meal for the price. They face the sandwich but put enough beef on it that it's still thick once redone. Aujuis was a bouillon cube. French fries were thick cut. Side of pickels and onion was provided. They have 2 bottles of unlabeled BBQ sauce on the table. The darker one is super heavy on the brown sugar. The lighter one very liquid and vinegary. Mix them together heavier on the light one. Drink sizes are awesome.

My husband and I decided to stop here the other day instead of going to a place we had been before. We wanted something new and sadly we paid the price; and a rather large one at that.

First, parking seems to only be near the lounge section, so if you want to dine and/or you're under 21, or have someone under 21 in your party, you will have to walk around to the entrance for the main restaurant. Meh, oh well, not a huge deal and they did have both stairs and ramp for accessibility.

We got there around 4:30ish and there were only a few other tables, maybe 3 or 4, with people at them, so not that busy at all. The waitress, Nicole, was super nice! Unfortunately, thats about the best part of this review. We ordered the Texas Snack Tray for the appetizer and it was just OK. It came with a small handful of sausage slices, Texas toast pieces cut up into smaller triangles, and a small handful of ribs. The sausage was a bit too peppery for my taste, but my husband enjoyed it. The BBQ sauce tasted almost as if it had curry or something in it that definitely gave it a more unique flavor, but not necessarily in the best way. The ribs seemed to be a bit thin on the meat but the toast was good...

My husband ordered the Maverick Brisket and I ordered the Top Sirloin. The brisket was moist but, as he said, all his food was bland. It looked good, but the flavor just wasn't there. We also thought it was a little silly that the entrees only came with one side but not a huge deal.

As for my sirloin, I ordered it medium, and it was brought to me medium well, almost well done.... OK, I can deal with this. The flavor was so-so, but the texture was WAY off. It had the texture of being frozen and then thawed improperly. When I asked the waitress if the steaks were frozen, she said no at first, but then explained they were frozen, but they thaw them and then cook them. She then told me she would let her manager know that I had a problem with the steak.

The manager (?) or cook, both? came over and introduced himself and asked what the issue was. I explained the problem with meal (including the dirty tasting baked potato) and, after asking, he took a piece of my steak to try and verified himself that it was improperly thawed. He then apologized to my husband and me and said he would "play with the numbers" and that he wanted to make sure we were happy and that we had a good experience. This was nice, I definitely didn't expect anything when pointing out the issue, but it is always nice when someone takes initiative to fix or make up for a problem.

When the bill came, my husband was a bit perturbed and said he felt insulted. The meal had a $5 comp. After tax, it still came to $53.09 (2 meals, 1 drink, and an appetizer) and we tipped in cash to our waitress; we actually tipped our waitress more than we were comp'd on our meal. My husband, for the remainder of the day, continued to grunt and laugh at how insulting it was. We don't mind paying for quality food - if we get quality food, this was not it though. I really felt that this restaurant sacrificed food quality for a speedier delivery when I would have much rather waited a bit longer for a better tasting meal that I was paying a decent price for.

The slogan is Never leave hungry; this location fell short of that as I left hungry and disappointed. If you're looking for good BBQ, this is not the place to go. If you're looking for nice...

My wife and I were quite ill, when we tried this establishment, with the seasonal "creeping crud", so I'll make my best attempt to keep this review as fair as possible, by keeping it short and our misery, out of it! Having said that, when I arrived, the parking lot was devoid of automobiles and the restaurant, completely deserted, save the bored employees stuck there, obviously wishing they didn't have to be! I was immediately, skeptically worried! Not even one customer! As I entered, I could swear, I heard a lonely eagles call, way off in the distance! However, the place had a fabulous aroma!

"Hmmm", a voice said, in my head. "it really smells good, though! Still, this might've been a mistake", the voice said, "Doesn't seem to popular!"

At the counter, I received our order and left, not sure what to expect, when I got home.

To my surprise, the food was even better than it smelled like! "Wow! ", my wife said! "This is really, really good!" "Yeah, you're right, Darling", I exclaimed! I didn't like the coleslaw, because it was very dry, but everything else was as good, or better, than our favorite BBQ restaurant, of some 30 yrs, now! Suddenly, no croud to contend with and the totally individualized attention and service, appeared totally different to me, as I recalled, our favorite bbq restaurant, with around the same level of yummy, was a complete madhouse, everytime we went, in the years we've been patronizing the business there! An absolute whirlwind of staff and customers. I remember thinking, "How do they possibly, keep track of it all?", as customers just yelled out what they wanted and without writing a single thing down till it was all done, someone else, who only wrote it out and collected the money, right before the customers exited the restaurant! Yet they kept it all straight, right down to the tips and who got them, as long as we've been going there. Now, I don't know if the day I went to this, "new to us place" , was a, "no customers" fluke or if low customer numbers were the "norm", in this place, but I'm certainly gonna find out, because I'm going back there, for sure! Maybe, this review will help to fill the place, so please... Ignore this review, now, okay?

Really, I'm just kidding! Go there, and enjoy yourselves! I hope you think it's as good, as I'm trying to tell you it was for us and we were dog sick at the time we ordered dinner there!

Thanks for your time and I trust, if you give them a try, you aren't disappointed in my humble opinion!

Again, thanks for your...
