We went last night and were VERY pleased with the overall experience. They kept the decor from Marcel's, only replacing most of the artwork. They have set up the tables in such a way, that even though it is mostly open, there is a sense of privacy for your immediate table.
The service was impeccable. The young man who waited on us was knowledgeable and patient. When one of our group wasn't sure about a menu item, he stopped taking orders and went to the kitchen. Another table was being brought their food so he went to finish prep on the dish she was questioning so he could bring it over and show her before delivering it the other table. She ordered it. An older gentleman helped serve our meals, and stopped over as we were preparing to leave to make sure we had an enjoyable evening with good food. We did.
The food is delicious! What our table ordered: Punjabi Samosa, Chicken Pakora, Garlic Naan, Onion Naan, Mango Lassi, Chicken Malai Boti, Baithak Platter, Gulab Jamun, and Gajar Halwa. Read moreGrabbed takeout tonight through the restaurant's website. It was easy to order online and they gave an estimated time to pick up (no text to confirm ready to pick up) and it seemed to have several tables full of people on Friday night. Each of their food items serves 2 people besides the drinks, so expect to have leftovers unless you're sharing with your family. Food was tasty as expected, make sure to have a lot of water or drinks available if you're weak against mildly spicy food. Overall, I will probably need to try more dishes here for a better feel of the place, but super happy that it's another Indian/Pakistani place...

The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk us through some menu options based on what we liked.
We tried their butter chicken, chicken boti, and both onion and plain naan. I can genuinely say this was some of the best food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Everything was full of flavor, and the portion sizes were perfect.
I’m so glad this restaurant opened up in my neighborhood — I can’t wait to see how...
