In the plethora of Middle Eastern coffee shops in the area, I think Al Wadi is the best (the rest are still quite good).

Things Al Wadi beats the competition on: Parking! Huge lot, and not competing with other businesses. Easy in and out on Layton Ave. Very convenient. Vibe! Although not as busy as some of the others, the decor and lighting is the best. It's bright and conducive for working, but still retains sufficient mood lighting for just talking and chilling. The seating is AMPLE and diverse with long couch like seats (with partitions), traditional tables, bar style seating, and even now outdoor options! The beverages/food! Every single thing I had is great, and there's nothing like drinking out of a real glass (if you have the time). They also have great sweet treats and even a few savory ones. Locally owned! A Milwaukee exclusive! Much love to the Michigan shops but it's cool to have a homegrown one!

Overall-even though every Middle Eastern coffee house is better than every single Starbucks in every way- this one edges...

They offer a great variety of milks and drink options, which I really appreciated. Whether you’re looking for a dairy-free alternative or something unique, they’ve got something for everyone.

The space is clean, peaceful, and inviting — perfect for relaxing, working, or catching up with friends. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which is a huge plus!
