Charleys Cheesesteaks & Wings — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I've been to Charlie's many times over many years and it always used to be great every time but in more resent times my order has been messed up higher than 60% of the time I have visisted, and most recently today too. Ordered a Chicken Philly w/ cheese and green pepper only for the grill, w/ jalpeeno and Raw Onins at the end. After 15min of waiting for my order, with only 2 other people inside, i knew it would be wrong. Had 4 people behind the grill area kept starring up at that screen of orders like it was a foriegn language they were trying to figure out. I get my box opened up... there were pickles,tomatoes, mayo, lettuce, nothing that I asked for... a few jalpeenos, and no onions at all. I asked,nis this mine, she said yes, even tho it was wrong. She wanted to remake it and I already was in the store long enough, don't have another 10min to waste. So i took my incorrect large $15 sandwich out to the parking lot, to scrape off all the toppings, and eat something because I was starving. Only ate 3/4 and threw the rest out because I could not scrape enough mayo off and that stuff is just awful to me. Luckily I live nowhere near this location and really have no reason to ever return again. Will be questioning if I want to go back to any Charlie's again to take another chance on seeing what I might get. They really need to change or update the order menu screen for the employee's, because it is clearly not working the way it should. Thanks for ruining my lunch I was so looking forward to when I saw the place was across from were I was working today....

My husband and I had never been here before and looked at the reviews so we thought let's try it. My husband ordered the b.b q. and cheddar sub, it was disgusting! They over loaded the meat with so much sauce it tasted bitter plus you could barely see the cheese which looked burnt. Not only was it uneatible but my husband got a stomach ache from all the nasty sauce. You couldn't even taste the steak. We watched the guy making the sandwich and he wasn't even paying attention to what he was doing but instead trying to check out some chicks @$$. I ordered the Philly cheese steak loaded which was pedestrian at best, and our MEALS were very small not to mention the cashier over charged us! Their lemonades are sub par as all they do is add fresh fruit to a pre-made concoction. It definitely wasn't a $33.00 meal. As first time customers I can say for my husband and I we will not be returning ever again and more than likely neither will any of our family or...

Do not go there a half hour before closing! First of all, when we arrived we were told we could only do a carryout. We ordered at 7:58pm and noticed they were making the wrong flavored shakes, so they had to fix that. Then they shorted us the number of shakes ordered (twice) so they had to fix that. Then I realized my sandwich & fries weren't on the receipt but my shake was, so I had to reorder at 8:07pm. We had to show our receipt at least three times to show them their mistakes. The guy who ordered ahead of us had to come back to the counter because he never got his soda. The lady who ordered after us had to keep fixing her order. I think the crew was done working for the day, before we even got there. For spending close to $100, I expected better everything. My sandwich had 2" of bread with nothing on it.
