Taco Bell — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I used to love this location, their drive threw is still pretty fast, but they had one worker at the registers and 6 people standing in the back with 2 cooks at the grill and 1 manager watching all this but she was helping the drive threw girl who was running back and forth from the window to the grill, and if you dont know, the drive threw workers are not supposed to leave their area. Sorry for long review, but Not exaggerating this one bit, the lady working the register had such a nice attitude for working alone during lunch hour with a bunch of workers behind her not lifting a hand! The food was good, but the service took too long, I don't blame the people who were working but it made me feel sorry for the 4 of them who were actually doing their jobs, ( the cashier, drive threw girl, one of the cooks and the manager, ) Once again, I'm sorry for the long review, but I had to mention the actual working people. When I usually give a review I quickly mention the place, service and staff in a few words, but I have noticed fast food restaurants and employees are always getting bad reviews, bad publicity, or ignored in general even though millions of people eat their food every year. So for my last words here, I gave them 1 star for the food being good, and the other 2 for the few people who probably barely or never get acknowledged. Even though it was busy and I had my daughter in my arms and mother in law sitting at our table with my husband, To you 4 workers, with all that and the crowd I noticed your struggles, your smiles to even the crabby customers, and hard work you do. To every one else if u want fast food and want to wait 20 to 30min for the food...

So I went to this taco bell last night, there is another one that is equally close to me that my friend prefers to go to because he thinks it's better but honestly I think that used to be the case but perhaps isnt anymore, this taco bell used to mess up my order every once and a while but lately it's always been correct, I probably go once every 2 weeks, the staff is always very helpful, and very friendly, last night I ordered a party pack of taco supremes and 2 of each of the newer special tacos that are only $1 each and 2 steak quesorittos. When ordering I had a few questions and the girl taking my order was very helpful, I waited less than 5 minutes for all my food and everything was delicious and nothing seemed like it was made so fast that it was irregularly portioned. For example sometimes you get a party pack of tacos and 2 of them have almost no beef, but lately it's been great. The only let down was I thought the nacho fries were back already, but apparently they are coming back soon just not yet. One other note worthy thing about this place is that 2 times ago I went and I tried to order a discontinued item, the xxl grilled stuffed steak burrito, and the order taker didnt know what it was so a manager stepped in and explained to her how to ring it up and they made it for me anyway, the service has really improved here over the last 2...

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I went in to grab my son something after school. I wasn't exactly ready looking at the menu as Im sitting their 5 minutes later I got absolutely no response at all so I walked up to the register 5mins later absolutely NOTHING! The manager comes out the restroom and looks at us with the look of disgust because she has to work! She went to the back without saying 1 word to us! I still patiently stand there since my son was hungry giving me the chance to look around and it was disgusting every table was dirty. I begin to hear 2 of the workers start speaking horribly about the,"white" lady, one of the girls that was taking orders in the drive-thru begins to mock the "white" lady, she apparently didn't like this ladies voice! At this point, it wasn't the loud music playing, it wasnt the shenanigans going on after someone is patiently standing there for almost 15mins with no response, it's the dirtiness but especially the racial speaking in front of customers but most importantly in front of my child that really bothered me!! I will never go here again and I will tell anyone and everyone not to as well!!! FYI..I AM NOT WHITE either so that isn't the case here, it's the blatant disrespect! If your not happy at your job then do something about it but to disrespect people because your a miserable person don't fly...
