No. 1 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I ordered beef egg foo young with beef fried rice extra beef in the rice. I got four pieces of meat plus one small one in the rice. The fried rice was very Americanized and the egg foo young was okay except for the gravy that goes on top. It was very chalky with a powdery like taste. I love egg foo young and have been ordering it for years. Now I know Wisconsin is no Chicago when it comes to any kind of food but I have gotten good Chinese food in Saukville Wisconsin. This is by far the worst Chinese food I have ever had even the egg roll was a fraction of the size of a normal egg roll it tasted like something out of a frozen box you buy at the store. The gravy for the egg foo young was so bad that I threw it away along with the patties. I ate some of the fried rice but I paid extra for extra meat and I got four pieces so I would hate to see what you get if you don't buy extra, one piece Maybe if you are looking for real Chinese food, and good Chinese food, do not go to this location. On top of all of that about 7 hours after I ate some of this food, I ended up with the worst stomach cramps and nauseousness. It got so bad that I ended up getting sick. So I'm not sure why that happened except food...

First I was on phone with the guy who sighed with annoyance because I had to tell him to have the delivery driver call when he showed up since I do not have a doorbell. The delivery driver pounded on my door without calling. Live in a duplex, if I was in another room, I wouldn't have even heard him. The food is terrible. The eggrolls taste exactly like the ones from Speedway. And costs much more. The crab Rangoon was disappointing to say the least. Had no crab in them and was more of the crunchy stuff than creame. I ordered sesame chicken, orange chicken and egg foo young.Sesame chik was good but didn't taste like chicken. It was weird! I don't know, there were a lot of pieces that were hollow which makes me believe it wasn't chicken at all. Orange chicken had no flavor but was very spicy. Think they added the spicyness just to make sure it had some kind of flavor. I hate egg foo young but my dad says it was just okay but the gravy had a weird taste, maybe canned? All this garbage cost 50 dollars. People were rude, food stunk, we are never dealing with this again. Can you believe it?? Wongs Wok is actually 100X better! Save your money for something good, this place will let you down and make you want...

Have ordered from here for years... lately the food has been very disappointing! I've ordered 6 meals within about a week's time... Hoping it would get better. 😏👎

~General Tso's chicken meal, where's the chicken??? All I taste is the breading and no meat! I cut open several pieces and there wasn't even meat in them! 😳 And the whole thing is very chewy and hard to eat. 😝 Each time came with TWO pieces of broccoli!(menu pic shows a lot more) ~Beef with veggies meal, again where is the meat?? And what kind of meat is this anyway?? Tasted nothing like beef! Veggies were ok.. not cooked long enough. Fried rice had too much onions and undercooked frozen peas. ~Egg rolls are gross.. Crab Rangoon is ok.. not enough filling. ~Sweet&Sour chicken is ok.. again... Not much chicken.. mostly batter coating. (75% batter/25% chicken) ~Chicken & Broccoli meal, tasted like FAKE mushy chicken.

The workers/owners are pretty rude/ not friendly.

Overall... OVERPRICED for what you get!!

I ordered here because it's close and convenient... Need to find a new place with better food! I'm done with...
