Omega in Milwaukee is a typical Greek restaurant, offering a diverse menu that caters to every craving imaginable. From the moment we walked in, the lively atmosphere and warm hospitality immediately made us feel welcome. Our group of 13, including 9 adults and 4 children, were easily accommodated because I called in the day before to make a reservation. The menu at Omega is a extension fusion of flavors, seamlessly blending Greek classics, standard American dishes, pastas, and Mexican. While they are known for their authentic Greek dishes, I got the chicken fajitas and they were absolutely incredible – it came with rice beans tortillas and dessert. But the real showstopper was the "Ultimate Bloody Mary." This monstrous cocktail was a culinary masterpiece, overflowing with delights: fried shrimp, a mini chicken wing, pepperoncinis, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, pickles, and a summer sausage. It was a feast in itself! Every member of our party raved about their meals. The children's menu offered a variety of kid-friendly options, ensuring everyone left satisfied. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Atmosphere: Omega boasts a vibrant and energetic atmosphere, perfect for both casual gatherings and celebratory occasions. The decor is charming, with a touch of Mediterranean flair. The restaurant's open layout allows for a lively buzz while still maintaining a comfortable and intimate setting. If you're in Milwaukee, Omega is a must-visit for anyone seeking a delicious and memorable dining experience.

Omega has some good home dishes. Their Athenian chicken is good for a family place. However, everything seems to be over-sauced. Everything that came with a sauce today seemed to be swimming in it. I do not understand what the chef was trying to do or where he got the inspiration for the "Hawaiian Ribs" special, but it was absolutely ridiculous. I really thought: "Someone must've been carrying a fruit pie in the kitchen, tripped over my plate, and that's how the pie filling ended up over my ribs... or... is this a mean joke?" So, I asked and heard the guy reply, "The ribs are served either a fruit sauce." It was fruit from a can that was heated and poured over boiled ribs. 🤦🏾‍♀️ It's a NO chef... don't do that to a family restaurant. That is not a good choice. When I hear "Hawaiian," I think of a grilled pineapple... but not here. Nope... it's fruit... from a can. Grapes (the only ones that looked, a little, like a fresh fruit), strawberry, cherry, and pineapple that was barely recognizable all poured over the ribs. The color was not at all appealing. I didn't send it back because I know what can happen in some kitchens. Yup. I go because that's where my older in-laws like to go. I'll stick to fries and sandwiches when they feel like going back.... Iffffff I go back.

The staff here are all phenomenal. They are powerhouses. Every time we are here, we are treated with warmth, accuracy and promptness. The owner should be proud of how hard working and genuine everyone here is. We've been coming here for a couple years and every time our meal is served quickly, accurately and with care. Never have we had a bad staff experience. Today our server was Pam and she did and excellent job managing a full, crazy lunch hour along with her colleagues. We are amazed at how quick and careful the service is even when nearly every table is filled. As far as food goes, the menu is extensive and just about everything we've tried is very good, satisfying and plentiful. The prices are fair and everything comes fresh and at perfect temperature and good presentation. We can tell the chefs take pride in making the meals here as much as the servers take pride in providing excellent service. Thank you all at Omega. You are all very appreciated.

The last two times I was there I was disappointed. The first time I asked the waitress what kind of smoothies they had and she said I don't know so me and my family all looked at each other waiting for her to say I'll go check and she just started staring at us and I said I'll go check and she said okay and smile that was very rude and I didn't say anything even if she didn't know the menu to make me get up and go back to the front of the store because it was written on the Blackboard the flavors of the smoothies was very rude of her. Also the second time she told me to ask a lot of those were not spicy at all and they were very spicy I didn't want to complain even when it's bad service I read about you should still leave 10 to 15% and I always leave twenty-five to thirty percent of a tip because I know these waitresses live off these debts also they were out of bread the second time I went and I know I came in at 9:30 and they close at 10 so I understand that but they should be making sure they don't run out. And here's my thing the restaurants will say that they're open until 10 but you'll walk in at 9:30 and they'll say the kitchen is closed then they should just shut down at 9:30 I see what they're doing you're allowing people only to eat until 10 and want you out but here's the thing I think if they're open till 10 and you get there at 9:59 you should be and you should be allowed to eat your meal. The restaurant business is getting worse because of covid and that woman who wouldn't serve me well excuse me go and check the menu that's common sense to make me get up and go look at the Smoothie menu she couldn't do that herself so I'm having to change from five stars to to Stars until you...

I've been a long time patron of Omega, back when it was an authentic Greek/American family restaurant instead of the quasi-Greek/Mexican mess it has become today (if I want Mexican I will go to a real Mexican restaurant thank you very much). Back then it was open 24 hrs but it hasn't been for years now, despite their outside sign still advertising that it is. Other changes include the free glass of beer or wine that you used to get with any dinner entree now only comes with with certain Greek dishes.

On my last and probably final visit I saw a security guard near the front counter on a Sunday afternoon. I said to myself "Has it really gotten this bad?" One look around the booths and tables at the clientele gave the answer to my question. Gone are the nice looking families and old people who used to come here for a safe, quiet, comfortable place to eat.

I decided to sit down to eat anyway as I had come a long way. I sat for 15 minutes and nobody came to my table to even bring me a glass of water. Depressed and disgusted, I got up and left to go elsewhere to eat. Now I must once again say goodbye to yet another one of my favorite restaurants because of changing times and demographics, and they're not changing for the better.

CCW holders need to be aware that Omega has a sign posted on their door that no weapons, concealed or otherwise are allowed on their premises. This despite the fact that they feel the need to hire security on a Sunday afternoon. Another reason not to patronize this place.

The fact that the management never gives a reply to any negative review speaks volumes about how much they care, which isn't much to...

Today I went in for the breakfast special with a good friend of mine. We both Ordered the steak and eggs and hers was almost rare so we sent it back to the kitchen, Finally after it came out it was just burnt on top but still completely red inside. So at that point After that she just wished to packaged it up to go and the server came and took her to go food and threw it out without asking , Later she came and apologized and said she will be taking care of it and will be bringing out a new food order, later a manager, well actually as the employees say it OWNERS wife !! She started becoming very negative towards the server and yelling at her for ordering a new steak for us. She approached her table later on asking “ Why do you need a full steak if there is only four pieces“? We wondered why’d she’d even approach me knowing that it was already thrown out. Finally after that terrible expowe asked for a check and went to the front to close out our bill so she comes up to us and tries just grabbing her to go food out of her hand without asking me completely rude saying she made my food now she needs to see. Absolutely not, at that point I was ready to just walk out because of how rude and how unprofessional this restaurant was. We used to come pretty often for the breakfast special and always tip the ladies very good because they always had such a great job for me and my family when we would come but now it seems as it’s best I take my business elsewhere. Remember one bad experience is told to one person and that one person tells five other people. Stop mistreating your employees you crazy psycho pathic maniac! It’s just a...
