To begin I called to place my pickup order he was very rude and rushy. Didn’t want to answer questions much at all. I asked how long until pick up and he said 10 minutes and then proceeded to ask me so you’re coming so you’re coming I said yes hung up the phone 10 minutes later. I’m getting a call from an unknown number. I answer and it’s him saying my Food is ready And am I coming? I responded yes I just told you that I’m on my way. He adds an extra $.50 if you’re using your card I’m already frustrated. Already overwhelmed. I go to my car and get cash. $100 bill. He doesn’t know that I’ve already done the math on my phone and continues to Give me my change, which is short I confront him that my change is wrong and he clueless and then proceeds to give me the correct change He is finishing up my order. If you going late night, the Middle Eastern owner is a penny pincher and a petty theif damn near. If you don’t pay attention he will throw an extra $5-8 dollars on your bill. I noticed the second time going there when my bill was almost $40 for 2 meals. I got an attitude and said ring it up again and he pretended like he dint know what I was talking about. Another time I came, he acted like I wanted 2 meals when I wanted one and almost gave him my card for it. The guy is trying everything possible to get extra money. Then has enough nerve to ask you for a tip after up charging your entire meal. After the second time of him trying to get over on me, I made a scene with him and he never did it again. You will have to confront him if you don’t want to be penny pinched. Pretty typical Milwaukee thing like at an Arab gas station in the hood. Ringing up whatever they want on that little register. PORTILLO'S WHO??? I don't live in the area, so this is my first time here. Was roaming around, trying to find something to eat, and I ran across this spot. They have a very nice variety on their menu. Such as Chicago, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, gyros and more. I had an Italian beef because I always love those and heaven had one in awhile.and I was certainly not disappointed.! I don't care for Portillo's Italian beef at all. I don't go there.I find it they are overpriced and just average tasting. This sandwich was was hot and fresh, loaded with meat, and I just thoroughly enjoyed it. The deal I got was the sandwich, an order of fries and a can of soda, and I think it came to around .$12. Also a very impressive variety of sodas to choose from.
